Email marketing still stays even to this date – it just a matter of how effective such campaign can become. In my own experience, the key to email marketing success is the personal approach. The way how to address your prospects, your offering, targeting relevant segment or category and using direct subject line that would interest your recipients all count. Continuing the correspondence based on actual reports regarding a lead is also very powerful. Sending bulk emails, too heavy images and generalized responses might serve as reminders to your market that you are still around – but those emails will not be as productive in terms of revenue generation compared to the personalized email campaigns done. So, it’s a choice to make – get personal or just be happy with minimal progress if you do not want to put your heart into it.
