No one can argue that Michael Christian Martinez really did a historic performance during the Finals of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. However, although crowd favorite as he was, many were not actually hoping for the medal. Being able to give justice to his performance and not to end up with obvious mistakes or injuries were mainly what most Filipinos were praying for. Landing as the 19th placer of the men’s figure skating finale is more than what we asked for. I just hope that Christian’s family insurance is comprehensive enough not just to cover him but also his emotional supporters:

The 2018 Winter Olympics is coming up and with or without support, this young and talented man, Michael Christian Martinez will only get better. He has all what it takes to be a champion in what he does but hard work is needed for sure. This is not the same as taking some online classes but he’ll get there. This time for sure, it will be different. The world has seen his potential and getting support will not be hard anymore. He can make the right choices now as he go along but trust that the Filipino people will be following his progress – win or lose! Any family insurance sponsors out there?
