May 22, 2016 — The Court of Appeals (CA) fined Senator Antonio Trillanes Php 30,000 for indirect contempt when he accused two members of the CA received bribes in exchange of then Mayor Junjun Binay’s temporary restraining order. So, the Office of the Ombudsman’s suspension and dismissal of the former mayor of Makati was baseless.
Trillanes’ big and bad mouth put him in the brim when he lied openly in front of media in April 2015 that the justices of the Court of Appeals are corrupt – same allegedly as Binay. This is where Trillanes accused two members of the CA to receive such bribes from Binay thus finding him guilty of libeling the court itself as corrupt.
Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales vowed to jail the older Binay, outgoing Vice President Jejomar Binay – relating to the dismissal of his son on corruption allegations banking on trillanes’ lies. The justice system of the Philippines is now clearly corrupted with Conchita being an appointee of outgoing President Pnoy who used such agencies to sabotage the reputation of his party’s political rivals.
