Ilocos Sur COC, Marcos’ bailiwick was deferred – that’s why Robredo is leading after tallying 45 COCs

Vice presidential candidate of the Liberal Party, Leni Robredo was leading the V.P. race against Senator Bongbong Marcos during the early hours of May 25, 2016 during the the official congressional canvass. 45 of the 165 COCs were tallied where Robredo garnered 3,399,828 votes against Marcos’ 3,148,312. 250,000 votes was the recorde margin
but without the COC from Ilocos Sur, Marcos’ bailiwick.

The Ilocos Sur COC was deferred after objections the lawyers of both candidates and the canvassing panel objected on the said COC

The unofficial tally by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting showed that Marcos was leading for at least 1 million votes during the initial partial counts – which is the opposite of the official canvass partial results.
