INC’s Loss, Binay’s Gain from JIL, Dating Daan, Pentecostal, Methodist and El Shaddai

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
It looks like INC is playing safe. The group might not endorse Binay for President but their V.P. is Binay’s bet, Bongbong Marcos with the approval of Senator Gringo Honasan.

In response to INC’s reluctance in endorsing Binay, some members of El Shaddai, Dating Daan, JIL, Methodist and Pentecostal groups expressed their backing up the Vice President. Many members of these religious groups including some INC members are witnessed to have conducted a text brigade in favor of Binay.

God really works in mysterious ways so INC might again experience backing up the wrong candidate – same as in 2010 when they supported Roxas over Binay and the latter became the Vice President of the Philippines.

    1. Tama…kagaya ng sinabi ng artikulio. Basahin ng maigi para maintindihan. Kahit anong relihiyon ma INC man, walang block voting.

  2. The United Methodist Church is NOT endorsing any candidate! Please be careful in what you are posting!!

    1. Please read carefully…the word “endorse” was never mentioned. According to source, there were members doing text brigade for Binay without approval from leaders. Source: Hilario Andes: Pastor Romy Manguiat, Bro Rey Manjares are for Binay. Bicol Batangas leaders.

      1. Shitty article… What is ur purpose in writing this? Do u really have to mention other churches?

        1. Why not? It’d free publicity in a free world. Are you ashamed of your religion?

    1. That’s true and the word “endorse” was never mentioned in the article – please read. It just said that members from these groups are doing text brigade for Binay as per source: Hilario Andes: Pastor Romy Manguiat, Bro Rey Manjares are for Binay. Bicol Batangas leaders

  4. Did you check your facts or hearsay before publishing your article?

We, at the United Methodist Church do not endorse any candidate. We are guided by God in our right or freedom to vote through upholding biblical principles of choosing leaders, earnest prayers, by conscience and wise research on the backgrounds of the candidates.

    – Voter in the National Election 2016
    – Ordained Pastor in the United Methodist Church, Manila, Philippines

    1. Please understand the article carefully before making such comments, Rev. I just happened to be an investigative international writer certified by Google – so it is a protocol to have credible sources. The article simply said that many members from the religious groups mentioned are doing text brigade in favor of Binay or did you miss that? According to our source: Hilario Andes: Pastor Romy Manguiat, Bro Rey Manjares are for Binay. Bicol Batangas leaders – perhaps, you may want to investigate that?

  5. Disregard that I’m Binay supporter from the start, I can’t imagine where INC derive their dicision to back Duterte a man with a principle opposite to their teaching of good and pro life.

  6. I don’t think that the observation of the writer is 100% accurate. as we, the United Methodist Church do not support VP Binay for the Presidency.

    1. Please read and understand carefully before reacting to the article. Like any other religion, you cannot force anyone whom they would like to vote. The article stated that there were members of the groups mentioned that are doing text brigade in favor of Binay. According to our source: Hilario Andes: Pastor Romy Manguiat, Bro Rey Manjares are for Binay. Bicol Batangas leaders.

  7. Yes the word “endorse” was never mentioned, but in the title of the article itself, inc’s Loss, Binay’s “GAIN”, the word GAIN itself is giving the readers the assumption that those religious groups mentioned are supporting Binay, which is not TRUE!!

    1. It depends how narrow the mind of the reader is.

  8. Baloney!
    Binay LIAR and Corrupt!

    1. You I think, is the same as per your accusation.

  9. If you read your own article that is the point. Endorsing. Don’t make an article if you’re not really sure of. You’re just making conflicts. I agree that this research is not 100% accurate.

    1. Respect your opinion – but that’s what media do to trigger interests. It’s up to the reader to read carefully then you can say the research is not accurate.

  10. Whether the word “endorse” is mentioned or not, I believe the reason why the UMC reacted to this article is they don’t really want to be involved in any political issues like elections. Not that they don’t care. They just want their members to decide on their own without pressure from the Church. Assuming some have expressed their support for Binay, it is their personal choice and not based on what religion they represent.

    1. Yes, thus the reason for follow-up article highlighting free will…
