Proclaiming Duterte First is still Unresolved among Leaders of Canvassing Panels

The canvassing committee of the House and the Senate approved the rules in the process of proclaiming the next President and Vice President during the recent joint session – but if done together or separately, is still unresolved as session ends today May 25, 2016 with various arguments recorded – and to be continued as canvassing of votes starts officially tomorrow.

Senator Pimentel is heading the Senate Panel composed of: Senators Sonny Angara, Ralph Recto, Teofisto Guingona III, Sergio Osmeña III, Juan Ponce Enrile and Sotto.Senators Cynthia Villar and JV Ejercito are the alternate members.

Under the leadership of Representative Gonzales the House Panel composed of Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga, Marikina Rep. Miro Quimbo, Cagayan de Oro Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, Capiz Rep. Fredenil Castro, and 1BAP Rep. Silvestre Bello with Pampanga Rep. Oscar Rodriguez, Akbayan Rep. Ibarra Gutierrez, Camarines Sur Rep. Rolando Andaya and San Juan Rep. Ronaldo Zamora as alternate members are also formed.
