Binay: ₱500 million Remaining Budget Awaits Robredo

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
The Office of the Vice President spent less than 20 percent of its budget for 2016, leaving a hefty ₱500 million budget to Jojo Binay’s successor, Leni Robredo.

The transition teams already sorted this out during their meeting and Robredo’s representatives led by Boyet Dy were positive that the accounted funds will make the realization of Robredo’s anti-poverty and agricultural development projects easier.

Dy in behalf of Robredo’s team issued this statement; “We’re really very grateful to the current Office of the Vice President for what they’ve turned over to make sure we have enough fiscal space to be able to push our own advocacies and programs”.
