Senator Antonio Trillanes IV’s comment that the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.’s burial at the Libingan ng mga Bayani is just one of the first headaches of the new administration is a mockery by itself – knowing that President-elect Rodrigo Duterte is promoting that as a Marcos loyalist.
He in fact is calling the Marcos family to call it off since not all ex presidents are buried there – if they want the Duterte administration to flourish and let the historians define their legacy. Philippine presidents buried there are Carlos P. Garcia, Diosdaco Macapagal and Elpidio Quirino who was just transferred there last Feb. 29, 2016.
In actuality as a senator of the Duterte administration who is a known detractor of the president, could it be that the Marcos burial issue is a big headache for Trillanes instead of Duterte’s?
