Outgoing Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is attending the inauguration of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday, June 30. Christopher “Bong” Go confirmed to INQUIRER.net that Marcos will witness the inauguration at the Rizal Hall in Malacañang. Go said Marcos’ sister, reelected Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, was also invited to the inauguration.
Most of Pnoy’s sisters will also be in the inauguration except Kris Aquino who will represent the Aquino family at Vice President-elect Leni Robredo’s inauguration in the morning of the same day.
The Aquino and the Marcoses have been feuding since time immemorial. So will they be so civil as expected or is this an event where we can see passionate acts of defending their alleged advocacies? Awkward moments to watch out for indeed.
