As investigations are being conducted starting from the neighborhood where suspected foreigners were staying prior to the Istanbul Airport attack, witnesses observed that there was a chemical-like smell originated from the apartment of the suspected ISIS members believed to be from Russia. CNN reported: Two of the three assailants in the terror attack that killed 44 people at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport have been identified as Rakim Bulgarov and Vadim Osmanov, according to Turkey’s state news agency Anadolu, citing an anonymous prosecution source. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Wednesday no Filipino casualties were reported in the bomb attacks at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport. The report came a day after U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul, chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, said the man who directed the attackers is Akhmed Chatayev, a terrorist from Russia’s North Caucasus region. The identity of the suspects and their backgrounds were revealed days after the Istanbul airport massacre, the suicide bombers was believed to be following oreders from their organizer – a man who a U.S. official says is a top soldier in the ISIS war ministry.
