Donald Trump in his campaign speech in Ohio disclosed his plans to implement “extreme vetting” of immigrants. This is his way of combating Islamic extremism, that will include screen tests for immigrants upon arrival to the US. The values that he highlighted for the tests were LGBT and religious tolerance.
Mr Trump’s plan is designed that citizens from countries with a history of terror will not be permitted to enter the US but it has no concrete list of countries to be banned. Trump said that he opposed to the Iraq War before it began, prompting critics to check and found it to be untrue.
He also had conflicting views about Nato, he previously called it “obsolete” and now included in his plans to work with NATO in fighting Islamic terrorists. “Those who do not believe in our Constitution, or who support bigotry and hatred, will not be admitted for immigration into the country,” he said.
Hillary Clinton also expressed that Mr Trump’s claim that Mr Obama and Mrs Clinton had “founded” IS only proved his that his views to are not only malicious but also “dangerous” and “un-American”.
