In an interview before the 2016 election, Sandro Marcos, the eldest son of Bongbong Marcos says that whatever position their patriarch seeks next is not a problem to the family. He trusts that his father knows better when to run for Vice President or President. He opted for the Vice Presidency but stays without a post while the electoral protest against Leni Robredo is ongoing. A VP stands on solid ground as a potential acting President, should there be the need for it. It is important to scrutinize the character of a more likely president in the near future should he wins his election petition.

[VIDEO]: The then 19-year-old son of Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Sandro does not mind if his father runs for president in 2016 or whenever he feels when the right time is. Ferdinand Alexander Araneta Marcos is now 22 being born on March 7, 1994.
The Son Believes in His Father
Sandro said his father always tells him not to hold a grudge against anyone. Instead, the best way is to reach out and offer a helping hand. This is despite the harshest and most painful criticisms faced. Sandro believes in his father and his ideals that he can win the trust, the hearts and minds of everybody, including the Anti-Marcoses, the haters, the doubters, and the still-undecided this way. The young Marcos is that his father will continue to reach out to every Filipino with or without a position. In a separate interview, Bongbong Marcos expresses that it’s the people who decides when he can be president.
Ferdinand E. Marcos is not Corrupt but the Aquinos
In the 20 years that the late Marcos was in power, the government spent a bit more than P600 billion to build more roads, bridges, ports, airports, schools, hospitals, dams, irrigation and hydroelectric and other infrastructure facilities than were built by all his predecessors combined. Cory Aquino for one has spent twice that amount in only six and a half years. She left nothing but a few flyovers. Her son PNoy also misused over P150 billion in DAP funds alone. Yet Marcos’s more corrupt enemies are the accusing him of corruption.
Media Propaganda Taints the Good Name of Marcos
The record shows that Marcos fell after he opposed against the American bases. He did not fall because of corruption but in defending the rights of Filipinos. He “became corrupt” only after he fell through wrong media broadcasts. As soon as he was ousted, the Aquinos blamed to Marcos the authorship and results of their own corruption. The mindset continues to this day. Their biggest corruption, however, goes beyond money. It involves the sale of national sovereignty and territorial integrity. This is one of the fundamental issues Bongbong Marcos is up against with the help of Digong’s current administration. Too bad, many people here and abroad are still misinformed – but at least, Sandro believes in his father which is the most important thing on earth.
Principled Vice President in Bongbong Marcos
The late former Senator Joker Arroyo, the late Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago, and Bongbong Marcos opposed the conviction and removal of Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona at Aquino’s direction. He paid off 188 congressmen to sign the Articles of Impeachment against the late former CJ Corona without reading the document. Each of the senator-judges received P50 million or more from the so-called P150-billion or so Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP). The Supreme Court declares it as unconstitutional. Except for Bongbong Marcos, all the senators running for Vice President received the P50-million. But Robredo accuses Marcos having the history of corruption without looking at the mirror first.
