P Imee or Pay imee?
Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas presents documents with the signatures of the officials who are still held in Congress. The tobacco funds were allegedly used to buy mini-cabs, secondhand buses, and Foton trucks. Fariñas even insinuates that the P Imee in the documents stands for “Pay Imee” which the witness answered that the document showed a clear P Imee there and not what he wanted to see.
Ilocos Norte officials did not refuse to answer the questions. They just want the committee to show them the original copies. This prompts Fariñas to cite the officials in contempt and have them detained by Detabali at the House Legislative Building because he does not have the original.
