
The U.S. president warns that a “major, nuclear war threat” with North Korea is possible and calls all Asian allies to be on one page on this matter. White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus said the conversations were prompted by the “potential for nuclear and massive destruction in Asia” and eventually in the United States. The Philippine president, however, believes that China can talk to North Korea diplomatically so as not to provoke them. To break the tension, perhaps it’s best to go back to what Bongbong Marcos said to survive a nuclear war.

Talk with the Philippine President
The US President talked on Saturday with Philippines President, who was also invited to the White House. Du30 has been criticized by human rights groups for the drug war that kills 8,000 people as wrongly reported. Only a bit more than a thousand are in police records which in most cases, drug offenders are killed when they threaten the lives of arresting officers. Such deaths are still under investigation.
Thailand and Singapore
The US leader converses with the prime ministers of Thailand and Singapore in separate phone calls. This is about his concerns on the North Korea nuclear threat. He invited both of them to Washington. It looks like this president is very much considerate with the Asian culture and opinions to solve what could be a world disaster.
