Bongbong Marcos: What to do this Christmas
Just in Case of a Lockdown Christmas
Filipinos are a bit anxious about what to do this Christmas. This is the time for merry-making with families and friends based on the country’s culture. However, it’s a little sacrifice to limit the number of people to 10 for parties and follow the health protocols of wearing masks and social distancing. Many of our countrymen suffered the loss of their loved ones due to Covid-19, said Marcos. The medical staff is also overwhelmed. So, it is best to still be very careful this Christmas.
Rumored Christmas Lockdown
Other countries like in America and the UK, some states already declare a Christmas lockdown. This is after the number of Coronavirus infection peaks up again. It was relaxed for a while but now, the ICUs in vulnerable places are again nearing their full capacity. This is why a rumored lockdown in the Philippines follows suit.
We are Filipinos
Filipinos are resilient especially during hard times. This is a very notable trait of the country. People can still be happy with whatever they have. One can always find ways to give love during Christmas especially on Facebook or other social media devices. The most important thing is to be kind, according to Marcos.
