Kabayan party-list Rep. Harry Roque made a pitch earlier for former Vice President Jejomar Binay’s appointment as Presidential Adviser on OFW Affairs. This was expected before the lapse of the one-year ban for defeated candidates. This is not likely the case now but life goes on for him doing the work that he loves most. He continues to support Bongbong Marcos’ protest through Pastor Boy Saycon – and forges an alliance with the president to prepare Marcos for the presidency. Now he can have peace of mind while on a pilgrimage in Israel with his family.

New Appointee for OFW Affairs
The President appoints former House Speaker Jose De Venecia Jr. to a post at the Department of Foreign Affairs. No Grant for Arraignment Modification but Assured by Court
The Sandiganbayan denied the plea of the ex-VP to modify the standard terms of his conditional arraignment before their upcoming pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The court discloses that there’s “no justifiable reason” to grant Binay’s motion. It has agreed with the prosecution that his concern has no legal basis because they are not currently re-investigating the case. Therefore, the conditional arraignment is not necessary should he choose to undergo the same. It will not ripen into a regular arraignment,” the court assured Binay. He can now have peace of mind from these cases while on a pilgrimage.
