Malaysian Prime Minister Ibrahim confirms to the Filipino people during his recent visit that he’s grateful to the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr. for imparting the country’s knowledge through the International Rice Research Institute in Los Baños. IRRI is dedicated to abolishing poverty and hunger among people and populations that depend on rice-based agri-food systems. During the previous Marcos administration, this was not limited to the country only. Ibrahim said that they owe their current rice stock inventory to the father of the current President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. This proves that political figures who said otherwise were liars. The same as the media that made their lies popular.
As far as Sabah is concerned, Ibrahim would like to immediately pass through that topic to pursue other collaborations like peace, trading, and many more. But Marcos, Jr. insists that the Philippines will continue the Sabah claim.
