Senator Nancy Binay did not like the slogan of a campaign on a bus in the UK saying that “We Give the world our best.” It features a Filipina nurse who first officiated the first Covid-19 vaccine in the country. The Senator cannot find its connection to tourism and fears that it may give some negative connotation. Like we are giving out our nurses some kind of Paperport Promotional Code who are already in shortage. However, Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco responded immediately that the department’s tourism slogan has yet to be released. But the branding strategy prepares the world for the upcoming offering. At one glance, the initial slogan is quite emotional and the world just couldn’t ignore that.
