Inciting to Sedition

Paras shows photos of Robredo and Rodel Jayme, the web maker. “Bikoy” videos feature a man with a hood who implicates the Duertes. The labor officer calls them part of a plot to unseat the President. Paras also slams journalist Ellen Tordesillas who was identified in a Manila Times story as the one who may have spread the videos. this is based on a “matrix” of people and groups that were linked to the planned ouster.

Opposition Supporters Committed a Crime

Paras claimed that Tordesillas was a long-time supporter and alleged apologist of Trillanes. He calls on the journalist to come out clean and expose those behind her. Clearly, Paras said, the videos incite sedition. He cites Article 139, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Revised Penal Code as basis for the sedition charge.

Jayme as State Witness

Rodel Jayme, was arrested early this week for allegedly uploading “Bikoy” videos. He denies it but admits as the website developer only. He can qualify for a state witness, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said.

Web Maker’s Side of the Story

Jayme admits that to receive P2,500 by Maru Nguyen. This is to create the website. He said he gave Nguyen access to the website, and that it was the latter who uploaded the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos that linked former Davao City vice mayor Paolo”Pulong” Duterte, Manases Carpio and Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go to the illegal drugs trade.

Liberal Party Mess

Jayme said he was not Bikoy, However, he said he knew Nguyen because they are both supporters of the Liberal Party. Jayme also denies reports that he works for Robredo.
