VP Leni Robredo calls Bongbong Marcos a liar on his election protest assumptions. She denies that the Supreme Court decision to proceed to the recount favors him. She’s also not happy that his sister, Gov. Imee Marcos tells the Ilocano crowd not to be impatient because her brother would soon assume the VP post during their patriarch’s Centennial birth anniversary celebration.

[VIDEO]: ROBREDO REACTS ON IMEE MARCOS CALLING HER BROTHER A VICE PRESIDENT
Hints on Marcos’ Victory
The governor hints at a possible near victory in the protest her brother filed to question the results of the 2016 vice presidential elections. She calls her brother “vice president” during a speech ahead of what would have been their father’s 100th birthday. Gov. Marcos also tells the crowd not to be impatient because it can happen soon.
The Marcos family also celebrates the National Historical Commission of the Philippines’ recognition of the Marcos monument in Batac, Ilocos Norte. “History is not done indeed with Ferdinand Marcos. Winter is not done with the Marcos legacy,” Imee Marcos stressed this.
Robredo cites the Supreme Court ruling that shows the alleged lies of the Marcoses. She said that the first course of action in Marcos’ electoral protest is even junked. They spread allegations that are not true that marred the integrity of the 2016 election but to no avail, she added.
The PET, however, explains that Marcos’ questioning the integrity of the whole election can only slow down the process. Therefore, it is necessary to dismiss the first course to get to the second course of action. This is because they believe that only the recount can resolve who really won the VP race in 2016 which Marcos welcomes.
