No More Delays on Election Protest
The PET resets the preliminary conference of Marcos’ protest against Vice President Leni Robredo on July 11. The original schedule is June 21. The process allows both parties to narrow down the conflict. This is to quickly resolve the process.
Ruling in Favor of Marcos
The PET denies the counter-protest of Robredo to dismiss the protest of Marcos. The tribunal rules that the electoral protest is sufficient for the case to continue. However, Macalintal insists that it is pending. Perhaps, to mislead the public.
The protesters are from various Marcos supporters’ groups. Many have affiliations overseas. This is why well-wishers through Facebook come from different countries. Many are from Hongkong, Middle East countries, and Europe where overseas Filipinos and migrants are rampant.
Prayer for Marawi
Songs, prayers, messages, and insights are offered. They also pray for Marawi where the government troops are fighting with the Maute insurgents. The Supreme Court is indeed the main target of the protesters for the enlightenment they needed to finally give justice to the undemocratic denial of the people’s votes.
