Comelec Spokesperson Warns against Media Propaganda
Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez reminds the anti-Marcos petitioners that it’s illegal to make noise on the cases especially when talking to the media. Jimenez said that there are comments here and there that are not helpful to the petitions. These statements are then carried out as media propaganda against Bongbong Marcos.
Petitions have the Same Grounds
All petitions against Marcos have the same grounds. The first ones were already known to have no merits. No tax evasion, and the non-filing conviction does not satisfy the moral turpitude ground that could disqualify him. Thereby, the growing number of petitions are just designed as materials for the media propaganda against the hottest presidential bet.
Demonstrators’ Innocence
Many vloggers spotted the innocence of the demonstrators against Marcos. When interviewed, many of them did not know what they are fighting for. Therefore, social media is really very effective in counteracting the black media propaganda against Marcos.
