Marcos Camp to find out Truth on Smartmatic Lapses by Filing Cases – before Cheating Issues can Surface

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
A criminal case was filed by the Marcos camp with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) against Marlon Garcia, Smartmatic project director and three other alleged accomplices for violating RA 9369 or the Automated Election System Law by Atty. Jose Amorado and ABAKADA party-list Rep. Jonathan de la Cruz on behalf of Marcos.

It was cleared by Marcos’ lawyer that they are not making a conclusion that there’s indeed cheating, instead they wanted to know the truth why it was necessary to tamper the script in the server. Cheating incidents will be dealt with in another instance – with evidences gathered by the camp.

Fact is fact. “Smartmatic committed two violations. One is the script alteration on May 9,2016 at night and secondly transmissions of results via the transparency server halted at 10:00 PM nationwide on that same day,”. Marcos supporters also showed up during the filing of the case at the Comelec.

VP Race Reading of Official Canvass Starts May 23, 2016

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Headlines can be misleading but this is not media’s fault since they are trained to create compelling titles to ignite the interests of the public. Both Senator Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo are positive that they have won the race during media interviews – and why not? It is their right to say what they really feel.

Bottom line is, readers must be responsible enough to read, listen and watch for the details. It’s information given for free – and it is your privilege to do so because whichever courts you go for being misled, you won’t win. The media is covered in the details of their reports therefore no Libel case can be filed – and for the candidates, it’s basic human rights.

The actual score is, at the moment provincial, cities and overseas clustered precincts submit the Certificate of Canvass to the Board of Canvassers then the reading of each will start only on May 23, 2016 when congress resumes.

History Repeats Itself on Official Canvass: Then Macapagal vs Marcos now Robredo vs Marcos

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Seniors are nostalgic with what’s happening now – like Hilario Andes from Binay Brigade. He was quoted as saying that the 9th President of the Philippines, Diosdado Macapagal might lost during the 1965 national election to President Ferdinand Marcos on his reelection bid but won the hearts of many.

It was remembered that despite supporters fighting for him, he insisted on sticking to the results of the Official Canvass – telling everyone to hear the voice of the majority. Marcos was declared victorious and became the 10th Philippine President who’s named is now tinted with the martial law regime aftermath despite putting the country on the world map as the richest in Asia.

Now, the hope for Marcos supporters are also in a brim when controversies overshadow the inconsistent results of the Unofficial Partial Transparency Count via the server for the Vice Presidency race between Liberal Party’s bet Leni Robredo and former President Marcos’s son, Senator Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. better known as Bongbong. Who will emerge as winner and who will make sacrifices? It remains to be seen if the full history will be repeated – to avoid unnecessary unrest.

Official Canvass Takes Time – See Process:

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
No Official Canvass Results yet released for the Vice Presidential race as of today 6:00 AM of May 15, 2016. This is a lengthy process with rooms of discrepancies if watchers from both sides of Leni Robredo and Senator Bongbong Marcos are not vigilant. This is the process according to Hilario Andes:

The precinct count per clustered precinct which are the ones in the schools where the voting took place submits their results to the municipal and city boards of canvassers to tally the votes for the local candidates like the congressmen, governors, vice governors and down to the councilors. The municipal boards will then submit the statement of votes per precinct to the Provincial board of canvassers – who again do the canvass to determine the winners for the governors and congressmen in a district basis for the vice governors and the board members.

The summary of the provincial canvass now becomes the Certificate of canvass of the province likewise the chartered city like Makati, San Juan, Pasay and others becomes the City Certificates of Canvass. The COCs are now the basis of the joint session of congress. The senate in the house will be canvassing the votes for the President and Vice President. Meantime, Comelec also copies the COCs for the canvass of the senatorial results.

It’s Binay – Marcos After All

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Ever since Vice President Jejomar Binay was in the process of selecting his running mate for Vice President, Senator Bongbon Marcos was the most popular name that emerged from the different Binay groups. This went sour when Senator Marcos declined Binay’s invitation via live TV.

Not to the dismay of many Binay-Marcos supporters, we never know if the rumor is true that the alleged decline was just a show. In short, perharps the work of Binay’s politial advicers and strategists to gain the best of both worlds.

This speculation cannot be denied in the following circumstances:
– Marcos believes that the allegations against Binay were not anti corruption moves but an act of politics to destroy his chances in 2016
– Gringo, Binay’s running mate indirectly endorses Marcos despite being a rival in the Vice Presidential post saying: Bongbong must not be burdened by the sins of his father (If there’s any)
– Campaign materials distributed by Binay’s campaign headquarters are more on the Binay – Marcos tandem.
– Binay already announced through the media that Gringo will definitely be his Crime Czar when elected into the highest office

Should this strategy be successful, the nation will surely be on its way to healing from past pains, nation building and massive progress through their common platform in providing quality public service to all citizens of the Philippines.
