Vice President Leni Robredo vows to block former Senator Bongbong Marcos from the second highest position in the country. This is despite criticism, impeachment threats, and an election case against her. Meanwhile, the Filipino Alliance for Transparency and Empowerment or Fate said that “an obvious hand is seen in manipulating” the upcoming impeachment hearing against Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno. The group cited Political and Electoral Reform executive director Ramon Casiple’s statement that lawyer Lorenzo “Larry” Gadon, who filed the impeachment complaints against Sereno, publicly admits that he wants to “avenge” former president and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Arroyo and the late Chief Justice Renato Corona. Gadon wants to make sure that the vice Presidency goes to Bongbong Marcos.

3 Reasons to Impeach Supreme Court CJ Sereno

Casiple said as per Fate that Gadon was candid enough to say he filed the Impeachment Case for three reasons. First, he wants to get back regarding what happened to Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Secondly,  he aims to avenge the late ex- CJ Renato Corona who he thinks was unjustly judged. He wants the ones who benefit from it, like Supreme Court Chief Justice Sereno, to be accountable for it.” Finally, Gadon works to assure former Senator Bongbong Marcos’ swift take over to the VP post.

Gadon’s Background

“Gadon was one of Arroyo’s lawyers in the plunder and other cases filed against her. Corona is an appointee of Arroyo. He was impeached by the Senate in 2012. An inquiry on the PDAF funds allegedly used to bribe the Senators to get rid of Corona is likely to happen. Sereno replaces him. She is an appointee of ex-President Noynoy Aquino, Pnoy also swears to block Marcos’ return to power by hook or by crook. Marcos’ election protest against Vice President Leni Robredo now awaits the recount date from the PET.

Just Another Black Propaganda

Gadon denies Casiple’s allegations. “There was no event that I have publicly said that I seek to avenge PGMA and the late CJ Corona’s plight. Casiple is a self-made pseudo political analyst. It seems that he has a talent in fiction writing also,” Gadon analyzed. He also downplays Fate’s revelation as a “bogus propaganda of the yellow.” “They just want to muddle on the issues. There are many grounds for the complaint against CJ Sereno. The complaint is meritorious,” the lawyer explained.

LP has No Credibility

“The yellows are good only for slogans and hypocritical acronyms, FATE? Who are they? Their comments do not matter, no one believes them except the brainwashed and indoctrinated yellows,” Gadon added. Brain-washing was, however, massive during the time of the late Ferdinand E. Marcos. Such campaigns are Liberal media creations here and overseas. Examples of these stories are the alleged fake medals of the late Marcos. The former First Lady’s shoe collection is another. Plus, the so-called ill-gotten wealth.  The government’s official record shows that Marcos’s one medal is enough for him to have a Heroes’ Cemetery burial. The Marikina shoe trade gives credits to Congresswoman Marcos. Marcos’ wealth for humanity replaces the hidden wealth allegation.

Bongbong Marcos Failed to Fast-track Protest as Recount is Further Delayed

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Political analyst Ramon Casiple was right. He said that Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest against Leni Robredo will reach the 2019 elections. It is not about the substance of the complaint since it is evident that there was cheating especially now that the impeachment of the COMELEC Chair is more likely.

[VIDEO]: Political analyst Ramon Casiple shares his thoughts on the electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos against Vice President Leni Robredo.

Not Helping Yet

Marcos is successful in his bid to have 3 commissioners to supervise the electoral protest proceedings. However, Robredo’s Camp manages to halt it on the first part of his three courses of actions. CJ Sereno’s possible impeachment also slows down the process. In fact, the recount is already overshadowed by Bautista’s scandal and Kian’s death.

Identification of Witnesses

As discussed in the preliminary conference, both camps agreed to limit witnesses to 3 for each of the 2,756 clustered precincts in Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao and Basilan. They are told to identify them in their comments. Robredo’s lawyer, Romulo Macalintal points out that in Marcos’ response, he failed to identify such witnesses. He just made the same reservation as such.

Banking on Protest Inconsistencies

Robredo’s lawyers are very vigilant in every detail that can possibly delay the recount. This is already taken since various Representatives of the House endorsed Chairman Andres Bautista’s impeachment complaint. That alone already clouds the integrity of the 2016 automated elections.

Election 2019 Decision

Protestant Marcos may not admit that he has to already decide this early on what to do during the Senatorial election in 2019. He may continue the protest and let his sister, Gov. Imee Marcos to run as Senator than seek another term. He can also do otherwise and face the consequence to moot his case against Robredo. Besides, there’s the election 2022 as well where he could run as President which he can be a popular bet if he wins the electoral protest. Whatever he does, he has to decide soon.
