Not Even a Corona can Stop BBM’s Cleanup and Restoration Services

cleanup and restoration services

By: Elena Grace Flores

Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest against the sitting Vice President, Leni Robredo might be far-fetched – but his cleanup and restoration services are not. He has a hand in seeking solutions for almost all major problems in the country especially in the beginning of the year. This has made his political enemies realize that nothing can stop him in devulging the digital fraud committed since the time of former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III. Thus explaining the former President’s fury to the late Supreme Court Justice Renato Corona.

The struggles during the first month of the year 2020.

The theory also says that it goes before Aquino’s time – that it has something to do with the late President Ferdinand Marcos’ case with former President Corazon Aquino. The PR man of the latter just happened to be a major player in Smartmatic, the automated election system provider of the country.

The Return of OFWs from Iran

The conflict between Iran and the US did a bit of shaking not just to the world but most especially to the Filipinos working in Iran. Marcos eventually made arrangements to bring them back with the country’s Philippine Embassy there. However, the department of foreign affairs conforms that the OFWs in Iran wish to stay. They are willing to wait until the situation dies down and hopefully they can go back to their work at once. Luckily, it did.

BBM Calls to Ban Smartmatic

President Rodrigo Duterte already said that it is “not acceptable” for the government to be associated with any entity “that promotes cheating.” Easier said that done since laws must be in place to make that happen. In fact, his sister, Senator Imee Marcos seeks to end Comelec bondage to Smartmatic. She aspires that Philippine elections to be more transparent and reflective of the people’s will. She filed Senate Bill No. 221. The older Marcos proposes to strike out a provision in Republic Act 9369 which bars other service providers from participating so that Smartmatic becomes the only available choice.

Alternative for the “Cleanup and Restoration Services’

Instead of sticking with Smartmatic, Marcos suggests a “hybrid” way of conducting the polls in 2022. “We have manual voting, manual counting, and electronic transmission. Hybrid and you vote like before. You have the counting like before. You have watchers, but there’s an additional feature the tech has moved, Livestream it,” he suggested. By live-streaming the voting and counting processes in rural areas, Marcos said local election officers can then question or correct figures inconsistent with the national canvassing of votes.
“The technology exists, let’s use it,” the former senator insisted.

Corona after Corona

There are jokes going around social media that remind the injustices done to the former Chief Justice. Marcos is only one of the three senators at that time who voted for his favor during his impeachment verdict. Now, another Corona – Novel Coronavirus from China haunts the world. One trial may come after the other but one thing is sure. Marcos is bound to continue the protest whatever it takes. The good thing is he has ample money for it. So, BBM’s cleanup and restoration services for the country is well on its way.

A “Dayan” Arrest

A subpoena for Marcos to attend the next hearing on July 25 is already issued by the Congress. Since she won’t submit herself voluntarily. They have to arrest her. Pimentel admits that it is difficult to do that in Ilocos Norte because she’s an elected governor with ample support from the people.

“De Lima” Contempt

Bongbong Marcos also is warned. The governor said that she wants to testify during the probe into her alleged misuse of P66.45 million worth of provincial tobacco funds. This is to purchase motor vehicles upon the request of the farmers themselves through their barangay officials including two of the Fariñas clan. However, her brother, Bongbong Marcos discourages her to so so. The younger Marcos just shrugged off their threats.

Doing a “Corona”

House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez also vows to impeach Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno for advising the justices involved to seek the intervention of her branch which is their constitutional right. Where is justice?

Detention Arrangement

Gov. Marcos’ detention room is a 70- to 80-square-meter extension office of Detabali. It is on the 3rd floor of the House of Representatives’ main building. It is fully air-conditioned with private bathroom and a water heater. A solo metal bed with mattress and food are provided. She can also bring her own. Gadgets, television, and internet connection are allowed for her to continue working.

Alvarez to do a “Corona” to Supreme Court CJ Sereno over Ilocos 6

Supreme Court

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez vows to impeach Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno of the Supreme Court over her advice to the CA committee on the show cause order on Governor Imee Marcos’ case. It orders the three CA justices to explain why they should not be cited for contempt. This is for granting the petition for habeas corpus of the Ilocos 6.

Sereno’s Impeachment

Alvarez reacts to the report that Sereno orders the CA to defy the show-cause order. “If it is true then we will discuss it in Congress for a possible impeachment case,” he said. Sereno earlier had lunch with some justices to allegedly discuss their response to the Congress’ show cause order against the Ilocos 6 justices involved.

Justices in Trouble

The House of Representatives is in a with CA Associate Justices Stephen Cruz, Edwin Sorongon, and Nina Antonio-Valenzuela. They ordered the release of the Ilocos Norte officials detained by the Congress. This is for answering questions about an alleged anomaly over the purchase of P66.45 million worth of vehicles. The funds are from the tobacco excise taxes.

Southern Leyte Speech

In his speech during the PDP-Laban in Southern Leyte oath-taking, Alvarez announces the delay of the barangay and SK elections this year. “To all barangay officials who are here will be happy with this news that there will be no elections and that the barangay chairman will just be appointed,” he said.

Power over his Head

Alvarez is noted to threaten VP Leni Robredo of impeachment after her UN side event fiasco. The President was against it. Then it went quiet. This time, he talks about doing a “Corona” to CJ Sereno over its Ilocos 6 clash with Congress. The late Chief Justice was impeached during the Aquino administration. He was highly intimidated during hearings. Knowing that Du30 is an ally of the Marcoses, will he not say a word this time?

Ex-Pnoy Underestimated Filipinos to Think that His Liability with Napoles can be Hidden

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The truth can never be hidden. As Janet Napoles was acquitted for alleged illegal detention of her cousin, Benjur Luy, Aquino’s accusation that she is the mastermind of the pork barrel scam created doubts. All evidence just points to the Liberal Party players with major liability going to ex-President Noynoy Aquino. This can, in fact, be another great fiasco by the Aquino administration after the late Chief Justice Renato Corona’s bribed impeachment.

Youtube video by; ABS-CBN News
[VIDEO]: President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday said he agrees with the Court of Appeals’ (CA) decision to acquit alleged pork barrel mastermind Janet Lim Napoles of a serious illegal detention case filed by whistleblower Benhur Luy.

Service to the Country

The president must be blessed to have  Solicitor General Jose Calida who has the conviction, and the principles. He strengthens out the injustice done by the previous administration. He helps in the case, even if made him unpopular. Napoles is already portrayed by PDI and ABS-CBN as a demon so, some Filipinos can be too slow to catch up. This basically misled the people into believing that she is the major culprit. It, however, did not make sense because her remaining case is plunder but she is not a government official.

Poll Funding

It is fortunate that Du30’s popularity surges, that puts Roxas in the second spot during the 2016 polls. The billions of pesos spent from government money might not serve for Roxas but the LP’s neophyte bet, Leni Robredo, manages to beat a namesake. Bongbong Marcos accuses her party of fraud. Her SALN after 6 months in office shows how that she became 2 million pesos poorer. This is because she has to sustain her post amidst impeachment complaints and the electoral protest filed by Marcos against her.

Shut Her Up

Aquino’s powerful media demonised Napoles so bad that most Filipinos rejoice when she was put in jail quickly. That is where she can be silenced about the pork-barrel controversy. If the Liberal Party congressmen and senators are found to amass hundreds of millions of pesos in the scam, that would add to the already almost politically dead status of the Liberal Party.

Selective Justice Detected

Most of the congressman implicated and charged for graft were those who opposed the LP. Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla were presidentiables for 2016 who led opposition groups. Black media propaganda took care of the number one rival, former Vice President, Jejomar Binay just prior to the elections. The yellow minions were outsmarted by Du30’s strategy – who announced only his candidacy immediately prior to the election. He also forged an alliance with Binay and the late Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago who like him, also support Marcos’ return to the executive office.
