Alternative to Low Credit Line Credit Cards

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
LOW CREDIT LINE CREDIT CARDS are good to have just as proof of your financial standing – for as long as you’ll make sure to pay promptly during due dates. When you are successful in doing this, most issuing banks will automatically offer an increase to your credit line. However, it is best to conduct a reality check on your financial capability. If this kind of credit cards will end up ruining your financial status, then get a debit card instead.

Debit cards do not have credit line. You have to fund it to be able to use it the same as a credit card. However, if you just need the convenience of using a credit card and does not really need the minimal credit line offered, then no need to get LOW CREDIT LINE CREDIT CARDS.

This way, you won’t have to pay interest for the credit facility used and save also on the membership fee and other hidden charges. The charges of debit cards will be too low that you oftentimes don’t feel it. so, save yourself from future headaches and just stick on debit cards – while you are still building your financial portfolio.

Union Bank’s EON Card Pros and Cons

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

I might be a little irritated trying to use my Union Bank’s EON Card account online but never get a confirmation  that I can already access it’s online banking system after the registration was successful. I kept on trying but after few hours, I gave up – that’s when I saw the fine print that it will take 48 hours to activate my online account on top of the 24 hours card activation period. I really don’t mind if only I knew and it’s good to know that I’m not alone. Read this:

For a long time I’ve lost my wallet(story here)At last I have now my new UNION EON VISA CARD!

Don’t get me wrong – Union Bank’s EON Card actually have many positive attributes than negative ones. For one thing, it can replace a credit card when registering to use Paypal. This is a big thing in the Philippines where many don’t have access for credit facilities – or just don’t want to have or use one. People working online definitely need this – so get one, now!

I knew that my EON Debit Card is expiring and it was not a surprise seeing a notice from Paypal – that to make sure that there will be no interruptions in my Paypal facility, I must renew beforehand. So, I immediately called the Customer Service hotline of the bank and was told to go to the branch where I opened my account. Then, I found out later on that I could have renewed in any branch convenient to me. Read this other story just to be aware:

Renewals: Domain Registration and Eon Unionbank Debit Card

I had my own custom domain name renewed ( for the 2nd time. The set up was very the same from the first time I had it renewed. Acquiring my own domain was the best decision I ever made for this blog. Although I am not a very active mom blogger,

Advance renewal will cost you 150 Pesos for the card replacement and another 350 Pesos for the annual fee. Just be ready with your government ID card such as driver’s license or passport upon picking the new card up after 3 or 4 working days. It is best to call first if it is ready because it can take at least a week. Whatever you do, just don’t let it expire if you are using Paypal with it.
