TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Fears among pregnant women are rising now that more-and-more cases of the Zika Virus are confirmed in Florida.

To combat those fears, members of the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County are teaming up with state doctors to go over questions and concerns with pregnant women.

On CNN’s follow-up report, problem on funding was disclosed:  Lawmakers hoping for a quick resolution in the talks to fund the government and provide a federal response to Zika were disappointed Monday when negotiators, who had worked through the weekend, said they would need more time to agree. WFLA continued: “Right now, I think it’s just a concern,” said Healthy Start Coalition executive director Jane Murphy. “If I were a pregnant woman, I would not go to the Miami area. I’d make sure I was wearing protective clothing,” she said.

Experts suggest pregnant women avoid areas where mosquitos breed and wear bug repellent.

The virus has the potential of causing microcephaly in an unborn child. It can have a severe impact on the development of a child’s brain.

The Florida Department of Health reports more than 80 cases of Zika involving pregnant women.

The Coalition is holding a seminar to discuss issues about the virus at noon on Friday at the Stetson University Tampa Law Center.

Florida attorney general dropping Trump University case not bribed

Trump University

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

How can you explain a hot pursuit from the start and then went cold in the end? Difficult isn’t it. Why is the Florida attorney general dropping the investigation of Trump University tax irregularities? This is the reason why speculations grow. If the explanation sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Read the full story here:

Trump’s Explaination

Donald Trump is denying any connection between a political contribution benefiting the Florida attorney general and her office’s decision to drop an investigation into Trump University.

“She’s a fine person beyond reproach,” Trump said of Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, a prominent supporter in the Sunshine State.

Trump added that “I never spoke to her” about any investigation.

The Washington Post reported that Trump paid a $2,500 penalty to the IRS because his charitable foundation violated tax laws with a $25,000 donation to a campaign group connected to Bondi.

Noting that the contribution was made in 2013, the Post reported that at the time Bondi “was considering whether to investigate fraud allegations against Trump University. She decided not to pursue the case.”
