Loyalists Insist that Ferdinand Marcos is a Hero More than Cory and Ninoy

Hero

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The Philippines marks the first year since the late President Ferdinand Marcos was buried a hero. This is upon the orders of the President following the law. The country recognizes the LNMB as its heroes’ cemetery and loyalists insist that he is indeed a hero. He has done a lot more than the so-called democracy icon, Cory Aquino and her rebel husband Ninoy.

Minority Senators are Against but not the Majority

In government, minority senators criticize Marcos’ LNMB interment. Supporters of the Marcos family retaliate with calls to “move on.” They inspire Filipinos to focus on the country’s current problems, Then, work with the President towards progress. The majority can only support the Filipino leader. No one can deny he was a soldier, former President, and saved the country from the terrorists and communism.

More Struggles after EDSA

Marcos’ declaration of Martial Law instilled discipline among Filipinos. The golden era is still fresh in the minds of golden-agers. This is despite the media propaganda painting it from white to black. Poverty and alleged human rights violations escalate especially during and after the two consecutive Presidential terms of the Aquinos. However, incompetent acts are publicized only during the term of Du30, a Marcos ally.

The President’s Support

Critics repeatedly point out that the Philippines is once more led by a strongman. They accuse President Du30 of unfounded things – just to discredit Bongbong Marcos who is his preferred Vice President. Ferdinand Marcos’ namesake awaits the date for the recount on his election protest against VP Leni Robredo.

Injustice to Bongbong Marcos

The “simple and private” funeral rites, as requested by the Marcos family, were carried out last year. This aims to give closure to his family and supporters. However, his detractors cannot accept that finally, the truth prevails that the Aquinos are not the heroes but the brilliant Marcos.

Gov. Imee and Rep. Imelda Marcos: Honored Edsa’s Real Hero Privately Until Bongbong Marcos’ Time

hero

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The late President Ferdinand Marcos for many loyalists has yet to get a recognition for ruling the country the best that he can. As for his widow, now Representative Imelda Marcos, he was the real hero of EDSA. He had all the resources to pin down the traitors of the Republic but he refrained from doing so. All for the love of his countrymen. Gov. Imee and the former first lady visited his grave on Heroes’ Day.

[VIDEO]: Here in an interview with A-P-T-V, she maintains her husband was the hero of the People Power Revolution that ended his regime.

Loyalists’ Shout

The only way to compensate for the unfair treatments of the Marcoses for the last 3 decades most specifically under the regimes of the Aquino’s, is to make Bongbong Marcos President by 2022 or even before. Marcos loyalists are banking on the recount for Marcos’ election protest against Leni Robredo.

Likely Hope

Most supporters trust the promise of the President that once Marcos assumes the VP post, he would resign. This is to allow the country to have a younger, competent, and experienced as far as governance is concerned appropriate for the needs of the nation.

Honoring FM in Private

At this point in time, Gov. Imee and Rep. Imelda continue to honor the country’s misjudged hero by visiting his grave on National Heros’ Day. They offer prayers at the tomb of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani in Taguig City on Monday, August 28, 2017. The gesture might be private but it means a lot especially to Filipinos who support Bongbong Marcos’ case against Robredo.

Bongbong Marcos’ Time

It is just a matter of time that Bongbong Marcos would soon emerge as the top leader of the Philippines. Detractors are trying very hard to stop that. But it is likely that he would get to be President in his lifetime. By then, the whole nation could celebrate the life and death of his father, the unsung hero, Ferdinand E. Marcos.
