Bongbong Marcos’ episode 10 video is very safe from the recount gag order. Images of personalities are shown to him. He is asked to comment on what he remembers about them. One unexpected thing is his fascination with the late CIDG Secretary Jesse Robredo. Marcos praises Robredo for his know-how in local government. They used to work together when the former Senator was the Committee Head for local government.
[VIDEO]: Bongbong Marcos said that Jesse Robredo knew how things work in the local government as a mayor but he does not know VP Leni Robredo at all.
Senator Riza Hontiveros
Marcos and Hontiveros never get to agree with anything in terms of policy. She, however, is committed to her cause that is hard to discern. Hontiveros is definitely a very passionate Senator.
Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa
Bato is a very good policeman ever since he was in Davao prior to the presidency of President Rodrigo Du30. Classic and well-adjusted, he came into the limelight during the current administration. The latest commotion leads him to take up another endeavor in his career to other areas of the country.
Jesse and Leni Robredo
The late Jesse Robredo’s background as a mayor made him very knowledgeable in the local government. As the previous committee head for local government, Marcos agreed with the late DILG Secretary in many aspects of policies and governance. This is the opposite with his wife who is now his rival in the Vice Presidency. He reckons that he barely had even two words with her.
Atty. Romulo Macalintal
Marcos knew VP Leni Robredo’s lead counsel in the electoral protest that he filed against her. In fact, he has known him for quite a long time. He fondly calls him Mac-Mac and describes him as a media personality. As expected, he performs as that, Marcos insinuates.
Vice President Leni Robredo said that she suffers from intense viciousness for a long time. She is in fact, the receiving end of all viciousness – but she allegedly never responds or fights back. It is only until WAC or the We are Collective website is launched that got alarmed after they repeatedly attacked her late husband, the former DILG Secretary, Jesse Robredo. She thinks that they have crossed the line. What about her dissent to Bongbong Marcos? Hasn’t she crossed the line for repeatedly accusing the late Ferdinand E. Marcos with unfounded allegations?

Attacking the Dead is Crossing the Line
VP Leni Robredo fires back at critics who question her late husband’s credibility in winning the Nobel prize-like recognition which is the Ramon Magsaysay Award. “We Are Collective” accuses the late Robredo of alleged lobbying to win the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award. The Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation already rejects that allegation, by saying that it does not allow anyone to influence or lobby their selection process.
Jesse Robredo Cannot Defend Himself – so as Ferdinand E. Marcos
Robredo said it herself that her husband is not here to defend himself. That leads her to think of possible actions to take. Robredo’s spokesperson Georgina Hernandez stresses that they could file a case that would go beyond libel. The act can be defined as libel but does not do justice in organized and deliberate attempt to use social media to spread alleged lies. For Robredo’s team, it is not just an offense against her or her family covered in a libel, but against the right of the public to the truth itself,” Hernandez tries to make sense out of her disclosure. While studying what lawsuit to file, Robredo perhaps can do a self-reflection on how she does lots of wrongs towards Bongbong Marcos by attacking his father through her public speeches.
Dissent through Speeches and via Social Media
Robredo urges ordinary netizens to file cases if they are attacked online. She cites the heated exchanges and threats common on social media. Victims of cyberbullying should take legal action, she said.” Cyberbullying is “any bullying done online” which is under Republic Act 10627 or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013. The question is, how can you file cases against trolls? Don’t online people not have the right to dissenting opinions? No wonder, they have used fake social media accounts.
Perhaps the VP now realizes how bad it can make a person feel attacking a loved one that is not anymore around in this life. She should think twice the next time she talks about the alleged involvement of the Marcoses with martial law, corruption, hidden wealth, and all that. Or else, she has not learned from her own lip services.
What the ex-confidante of the late Ferdinand E. Marcos wrote in his book “Conjugal Dictatorship” are the propaganda details that Vice President Leni Robredo keeps on rewinding in her bid to discredit the son, Bongbong Marcos who filed an electoral protest against her. Now, the karma of the dead goes back to her. In the recent Nagaleaks revelations, the ex-councillor of her husband, the deceased Jesse Robredo calls them plastic.

Ramon Magsaysay Foundation Award
The Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation recognizes Jesse Robredo as a dignified public servant. The allegation that Jesse Robredo garners the Magsaysay prize due to the lobbying efforts of an ex-journalist Gabby Bordado who serves as his speech writer tainted the achievement just like the alleged fake medals of the late Ferdinand E. Marcos. Robredo’s camp denies this revelation among other negative details from The Collective’s gathered information about them. The foundation itself does not admit to Bordado’s influence on that.
Luis Ortega’s Revelations
On a separate interview, an ex-councillor of the late Jesse, Luis Ortega squeals that the ex-mayor’s campaign against drugs is fake. Robredo allegedly just keeps on criticizing the illegal trade but he did not to anything to stop it, Ortega reveals. This is actually consistent with the facts stated by The Collectives in the so-called Naga Leaks.
The Vice President dismisses the alleged false stories against her family as an attempt to stop her from being vocal on anti-administration issues using the Marcos propaganda. Since the VP resigns from the Cabinet she has openly criticized the administration’s brutal drug war, the death penalty, and extra-judicial killings. She detests the president’s friendly relationship with the Marcoses especially to her arch-rival, Bongbong Marcos.
The Marcos loyalists ask the Vice President on how does karma feels? She never misses criticizing the dead Marcos just to justify her win. Whether Naga Leaks are true or not, it definitely is a lesson to the living Robredo not to mess with the dead!
Fed-up with many irresponsible journalists, Collective, a pro-administration advocacy online platform vows to exposed wrong-doings of high-ranking politicians who control the media, businesses, and the society as a whole to their advantage. The website does not reveal actual names of the people behind it but judging from the website itself, it is funded by a pro-Du30 supporter or supporters who has or have backgrounds in online publishing and journalism. It is not monetized through Adsense therefore, not a Google approved site, but their coverages are well presented with supporting facts.

[VIDEO]: “Jesse was still the undisputed King of Naga. Meanwhile, it was not just Jueteng that flourished in Naga, drugs also started flooding in.” -excerpt from collective.com.ph
Jesse, an Ally of the Jueteng King
Illegal gambling operator or Jueteng King, Eddie Mercado and Jesse Robredo are close friends. Jesse’s emergence as the new king of Naga is strongly supported by Eddie. Their alliance that lasts until Jesse’s death in 2012. Jesse cannot totally eradicate Jueteng in Naga because of such connection. It is just a public illusion that he is against Jueteng, In fact, he tolerates the Mercados because of a political debt since Sonny Mercado is one of his main supporters during his mayoral bid against Roco in 1988.
Cannot Stop Drugs and Prostitution
As a politician, Jesse is aware that connections among powerful people are crucial. In this world money is power. He may have tried cleaning up the streets with drug addicts and prostitutes but he has no choice but tolerates drug lords and illegal business operators. Despite the cleanup, prostitution thrives in Naga. Pimps and prostitutes swarm the streets at night. Jesse does not encourage prostitution but it cannot be denied that it is largely tolerated. Rodson, Dinaga, Plaza Rizal, Crown Hotel, and Kanyaman are the known pick up places for flesh addicts.
Rented Condo is Actually Owned
A day after Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo’s plane crashed, then USEC Rico Puno with two policemen, try to enter the alleged rented condo of Robredo in Tomas Morato. According to one of the police officers who is with Puno, he acts on the premise that they are there on orders of President Benigno. This triggers the speculation that confidential documents can tarnish the Pnoy administration’s reputation on a certain drug-related case that Robredo investigates. As verified by the Collective, the condo is not actually rented but owned by the Robredo’s. In fact, there are indications from its developer 24K Development and Construction Corporation that the whole building is actually owned by them.
The Dead Ramon Magsaysay Awardee cannot Defend Himself on Naga Leaks
Another Naga Leaks expose is the Ramon Magsaysay award. It is Gabby Bordado who suggests the Ramon Magsaysay Award to Jesse in the year 2000 the Award is touted as Asia’s version of the Nobel Prize. Aside from the fame, honor, and the prestige it brings, $50,000 is also at stake. Gabby proposes to Jesse that he works hard to make him win on the condition that Jesse shares half the cash prize. Jesse gives a trip to Hong Kong with his wife instead that dismayed the couple. Since Jesse Robredo is already dead, the conclusion must be left to the readers based on available facts. This is if Naga Leaks are not enough.
Parents of millennials including Vice President Leni Robredo can attest that they cannot be told on what to believe. As she said, they have all the information readily available for them online. They just have to discern the right from wrong. Why worry then that they come to know the truth?

[VIDEO]: Vice President Leni Robredo tells students of Far Eastern University to be discerning of the information they receive, especially online. Robredo says having readily available information is a good thing but not when it harms people when lies are peddled.
Vice President Leni Robredo said that the big problem in today’s youth is misinformation. She is fedup that all our judgments, all our prejudices come from misinformation, Robredo speaks to students of Far Eastern University. She added that it’s a good thing that information is readily available, especially through smartphones. But she is scared how facts may be twisted or lies can spread. The Vice President clearly underestimates the millennials ability to discern.
Rumors about the VP
There is a rumor that says Robredo connives with philanthropist Loida Lewis and other Filipino-American community members to oust the President. The rumor is supported by exchanges through the public Yahoo! Group of the Global Filipino Diaspora Council. There is even a claim that she is pregnant. She is allegedly married to another man before her marriage to the late interior secretary Jesse Robredo. All these she deny and time really tells which ones are true with her speaking against the President during the Liberal Party’s EDSA Protest.
How to Discern
Robredo encourages the youth to be more discerning of the information available receive online. Saying that they cannot base their judgments and their prejudices on information on lies. She adds that no one forces them to believe in a particular school of thought. But hopes that their basis of their belief is correct. Perhaps the Vice President does not realize how smart many millennials can be in discerning the right from wrong. This is the very reason why anti-Marcos supporters diminish in time but to her disadvantage.
Robredo also urges government officials to institute policies that protect the public from unreliable information. She also forgets that she is part of the government as the Vice President but perhaps she realizes that she can’t hold on to it as long as she wants to due to the ongoing electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos.
