The leaders of North and South Korea agree to remove all nuclear weapons from the Korean Peninsula. They will also pursue talks with the United States to declare an official end to the Korean War within a year. The conflict ravages the peninsula from 1950 to 1953. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, Vice President Leni Robredo turns to the divine providence as her last resort. He finds Bongbong Marcos as a giant opponent. Marcos discovers lots of election anomalies that put Robredo into a bad light. The VP war in the country continues slowly but surely.

No More Nuclear Weapon
South and North Korea confirm the common goal to realize complete denuclearization, a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula. This is in the statement signed by North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, and the South’s president, Moon Jae-in, after their meeting at the border village of Panmunjom.
The event, at the Peace House, a conference building on the South Korean side of Panmunjom can set the tone for the even more critical summit meeting between President Trump and Mr. Kim. The two leaders are known for their being bold and unpredictability. Their actions put the world on the edge last year with threats of a nuclear war.
Robredo’s Social Media Fight
The Filipino Vice President is currently at war with Manila Times columnist Rigoberto Tiglao. He writes an opinion piece about Robredo to suggest that she confers with the European Parliament officials. This is during her last trip to Germany. The writer claims that she and her colleagues in the Liberal Party urge the European lawmakers to release a resolution condemning extrajudicial killings during President Rodrigo Du30’s term.
Robredo said that she talks to the members of the German government and civil society organizations about poverty and social injustice. She is earlier found to have circulated fake news herself. This is when she cites Ilocos Norte, the Marcoses’ bailiwick as one of the poverty-stricken provinces due allegedly to the political dynasty. This is despite the fact that it is one of the most progressive and even possesses better statistics progress-wise compared to her own province. In an interview, the VP shares her assumptions on the origin of the extreme hate she receives online. She can only tag her vice presidential rival, former senator Bongbong Marcos as the alleged culprit.
Former President Noynoy Aquino’s pledge now makes sense that the recount of Bongbong Marcos’ VP electoral protest is ongoing. He vows to block the return of the late President Ferdinand Marcos’ clan to power. This can only be through election cheating using a political prostitute. Former Vice President Jejomar Binay previously urged him to allow a clean election but to no avail. Binay becomes the target of black media propaganda for refusing to cooperate with his ill intentions. Lots of irregularities are evident in the physical evidence of the ballots from Camarines Sur particularly in Bato during the initial stage. Bongbong Marcos can only be more prepared for this. His latest symbolic back to Malacanang video signifies the Du30-Marcos readiness for the challenges ahead.

No More Monopoly
Social media plays an integral part in providing efficient platforms to counteract black media propaganda from the major mainstream media that are under the nationwide business monopoly. The voice of the people can now be heard loud and clear from the individuals themselves. The transmission is digital unlike the scheduled programming of tri-media through print, TV, and radio facilities.
Robredo Seeks Sympathy
Meanwhile, VP Leni Robredo continues to mimic her strategy that worked in the past by giving the wrong data to an international audience. She did the same thing during a side event of the UN. That gives a bad image to the country and creates a ruthless persona of the president in his drug war. At desperate times, such as these days that the recount continues to uncover her cheating abilities, the problematic VP once again clings to fake news. However, contrary to the statistics of Robredo during her speech at the London School of Economics, Ilocos Norte is among the top 20 richest provinces of the Philippines. This is according to the Philippine Statistics Authority data, said Gov. Imee Marcos.
President Rodrigo Du30 is always vocal in saying that he wants to pass the Presidency to Bongbong Marcos. This message is the same as before the elections 2016 up to now. He starts to bring back most of the projects of the former President Marcos especially the infrastructure ones with the help of China and Japan. He might be critical of the US but he never ends the country’s alliance with the Americans as a foreign policy. Instead, he acts as a go-between in the US-North Korean dialogue through his good connection with the Chinese President Xi-Jinping who is an ally of North Korea’s Kim Jong Un and befriended US President Donald Trump.
World Peace NOT War
President Du30 is the leader who genuinely cares about his people’s welfare. This is the reason why he wants to step down to give way to the younger Marcos. He adapts the Marcos patriarch’s advice to the late Corazon Aquino in borrowing money to build public infrastructures. He understands the concept of having the collateral to pay such debts that the late President installed for the country many years ago through the World Bank. Come to think of it. China or any country won’t lend Philippines enormous amount if they do not believe that Filipinos have the ability to pay. Du30’s moves definitely trigger peace and not war.
