Koko Pimentel’s NY Resolution: Adapting LP’s Media Trick Against Duterte for Marcos’ Seat?

Koko Pimentel

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III this 2017 vows not to evade the media anymore. He chose to be quiet in te past with regards to his disagreements with President Duterte’s move. Pimentel opposes Duterte on Marcos’ Heroes Burial and keeps silent about the death penalty and extrajudicial killings. However, he also justifies why he wants Senator Leila de Lima, Duterte’s critic to chair the justice committee. De Lima is later ousted from the position by the senate. This does not erase the fact that many Duterte, Marcos, and Binay supporters suspect that he’s a traitor to the Liberal Party opposition alliance.

[VIDEO]: There were some “disagreements” but not enough to warrant the ouster of Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, Senator Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito said on Wednesday.

Senator JV Ejercitos’ Petty Issues with Pimentel

Senator JV Ejercito comments that even if there are minor issues with Pimentel’s leadership in the senate, he believes that as of now, he’s senate presidency is stable. There are also not enough threat that could leave in a campaign to oust him. He hopes that the differences are soon be settled.

Oust V.P. Leni Robredo?

Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez denies that the Duterte administration starts to push Vice President Leni Robredo out of her V.P. seat after resigning from her cabinet post. Come to think of it. If. V.P. Robredo is ousted, Bongbong Marcos is not the next in line before the ruling of the electoral protest. If that happens, Koko Pimental takes over the V.P. post. So, if Robredo is ousted, it can’t be the work of the Duterte administration. Can the Liberal Party takes out their own?

Vocal to Media against Duterte?

If the senate president becomes vocal against the actions of the president through the media, that surely results to the division of power in the senate. Duterte won’t dominate anymore in that area. How about the somewhat Liberal views of Pimentel? Does this mean to say that the Liberal Party prefers him to take over the V.P. post than Robredo? Given that her reputation deteriorates at the moment after “Lenileaks,” Pimentel can only be their option – that if he is indeed a traitor to Duterte’s party.

Speculated Plot

Given the nature of the Liberal Party when Mar Roxas is dropped for Grace Poe during elections, they can easily do that to Leni Robredo for Koko Pimentel. Once Pimentel is seated in the V.P. seat, he can then apply his New Year’s resolution to be vocal through the media – and that can include his criticisms to Duterte’s policies, actions and behavior in public to destroy him. The purpose? Be President? Wait, is that supposed to be Bongbong Marcos’ seat?

Jojo Binay is not a Fish, Pimentel – He teaches People how to Fish

Jojo Binay

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Now that Senator Koko Pimentel is already the confirmed Senate President, he has to stand by his promise to jail former Vice President Jejomar Binay for the alleged corruption committed when he was still mayor of Makati. In fact, Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales echoed that by filing cases against him without probable cause and no concrete evidence – just hearsays. Koko was noted saying that Binay would probably be the first big fish who is going to prison for that matter and headlines flashed around tri-media including social media.

Well, this is what most Makati residents are saying in response to that. “Binay is not a big fish, Koko – he teaches people how to fish and you should learn that also as a public servant. His public services in Makati are second to none. Up to this date, you are considered privileged if you get a Makati resident and medical cards – that existed even before the plan of creating a national ID card for Filipinos. Do you know why? It is easy to print cards but even that most of past governments cannot do. The difficult part is coming up with concrete benefits to offer to Filipino Citizen card holders.

Senator Koko Pimentel, now that you have the power to create legislation that would benefit Filipinos, can you at least try to come up with various privileges that a Filipino can have under the Duterte administration? Will a Filipino ID card holder be prioritized in the country’s top paying jobs? Will they get livelihood loans to start businesses? Can their children go to quality schools for free? Most of all, can they get hospitalized without worrying about the cost? Wait until you can accomplish these before even thinking of jailing Binay who had done all of these for the citizens of Makati. For now, learn from him.

Koko cannot dictate Duterte over Binay – scared now for libel?

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
How many times should Duterte say that he will not waste his time running after political enemies – let alone outgoing President Aquino and Vice President Jejomar Binay. It’s the Ombudsman’s job to do that despite an appointee of the Party that he detested.

Koko Pimentel’s head became bigger since he’s one of the people urging Duterte to run as President and also a Party comrade plus a friend – but he might not know the alliance Duterte and Binay had to unseat the Liberal Party in the top position. Binay might be a friend of Duterte too but this is never a consideration when making a decission for the good of the country. Koko should know that too.

Koko Pimentel might be guilty himself on what he did in the senate grilling Binay without no concrete evidence in the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee. Nowm Trillanes is starting to pay for his sins – then Cayetano and Pimentel must follow suit.

Kangaroo Court: Binay will no Longer be Invited to the Blue Ribbon Hearing

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Despite the desperate efforts of the Senators comprising the unconstitutional Blue Ribbon Committee namely, Senators Allan Peter Cayetano, Antonio Trillanes and Koko Pimentel to ruin the name of Vice President Jejomar Binay for the 2016 Presidential election, they have given Binay supporters the relief by admitting that they can never be successful in getting the good V.P. to attend any hearing in the so-called Kangaroo court!

It was announced in today’s hearing as per this video coverage from Rappler that Vice President Jejomar Binay will no longer be invited to any of the foregoing hearings with regards to the corruption allegations against him. However, he will always be welcome to attend should he wishes to show up to defend himself.
