The Most Popular Leaders in Cebu are for BBM
Governor Gwendolyn Garcia and Vice Mayor Mike Rama have been consistent with their support to BBM since 2016. These popular leaders made most Cebuanos proud for their alliance with the son of the late President Ferdinand Marcos. Cebu was a recipient of the former President’s significant infrastructure projects because of their utmost support to the great leader.
Mike Rama for Mayor
President Rodrigo Duterte endorses Cebu City Vice Mayor Michael “Mike” Rama for the city’s mayoral race in the 2022 elections. He is currently the acting mayor of the queen city of the south. This is after the absence of Cebu’s mayor Edgardo Labella.
Gwen Garcia for Governor
In 2019, President Duterte came to Cebu not only to campaign for his senatorial bets but also to endorse the gubernatorial bid of Gwendolyn Garcia. The alliance continues together with Bongbong Marcos and Mayor Sara Duterte. These leaders vowed to continue the war on drugs but in a different way. Garcia seeks another term as governor.
Some tribe leaders went to the University of the Philippines to show their support to President Rodrigo Duterte. Mocha interviewed them. One divulges that Joma Sison allegedly plans to get rid of the President. However, they said that it’s President Duterte who made developments in their ancestral domain. They have keens also who died when used by the NPA to rally and fight the military. Some are killed by the rebels themselves.

Supporting President Duterte
They said that they are real pro-administration tribes ever since the Marcos era. Their livelihood is agriculture that thrives. Pro-administration as they are, they do not need the government to spend on them. To show their support to the President is the most important thing.
