Manila’s Cong. Lito Atienza’s debate with Rep. Edgar Erice of Caloocan City in Congress on the integrity of the automated election in the country says it all. He bluntly declares that Bongbong Marcos is the real winner of the 2016 VP race and was cheated with the connivance of the Comelec and its preferred candidate, Leni Robredo.

Ex-Comelec Chair’s Cheating Confirmation
The admission of then Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista to his wife that he received an excessive amount of salary from Smartmatic to his wife, Patricia is a mere admission of the fraud. This is why Atienza campaigns to replace the supplier of the digital voting machines to be replaced. He also comments that Bautista is now staying in America and would not want to return any time soon.
Explain Wet Ballots
The irate Congressman asks Erice to explain why the ballots which must be under the protection of Comelec came out wet? Why the transmission of results happen a day prior to the election? The representative from Caloocan sites the rain as the reason for the wet ballots and assures the crowd that the digital copies saved in SD cards are safe at the Central Bank. He also said that only the zero votes results were transmitted earlier to make sure that the count starts from zero.
Digital Copies are Not Dependable
However, Atienza can only cast doubts on his unconvincing answers and further questions about the reliability of the SD cards which are reportedly tampered. He is very certain that the Comelec would do its very best to cover up its mess to avoid implications with the anomalies since this costs the government lots of money already.
Atienza Tells the Congress that there’s No Justice for Marcos
There’s one thing that Cong. Atienza believes. Bongbong Marcos would never get justice from the Comelec even if he was clearly the VP winner. Despite the calls for it to change the voting machine provider for the elections in 2019, it maintains its deaf ears. Only God can give justice to Marcos as far as he can see. Meanwhile, Sol. Gen. Jose Calida is now pushing the PET to honor its own 50% shading ruling. This can massively reduce the VP’s votes. The President is also asking for an election prior to the Federalism transition if granted by the Congress. This is to prevent Robredo from becoming the next President of the country.
Gov. Imee Marcos and Mayor Cristina Romualdez seem to be in tune with the palace when it comes to the real status of the country’s economy. The questionable VP earlier said that the President should prioritize the declining economy first before criticizing her incompetence. Palace spokesperson Harry Roque said that in fact, the Philippines is now the darling economy in Asia. Marcos and Romualdez added that the world’s gasoline crisis is the one to blame for the price hike of commodities.

Roque Corrects the Out of Tune VP
Roque notes that the increase in the price of oil in the world market is the reason for the increasing prices of commodities. “All economies in the world will agree that we are a darling economy,” the spokesperson claimed in a press briefing. He added: “Madam vice president, there is no problem with the economy.” In the first quarter of 2018, the Philippines remained one of the best performing economies in the region after it grew 6.8 percent. The expansion pace missed the government’s expectations due to “spoiler” inflation.
The Tax Reform is Up to the Congress
Detractors of the government blame the rising prices on the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law. It allegedly lowers the income tax rate but also imposes higher taxes on fuel and “sin” products. The peso also continues to be weak against the dollar but Du30’s economic managers and Roque said this was not a cause for concern. Romualdez said to Marcos that the President is leaving this matter to the Congress since he cannot decide on this without a specific law as per the constitution.
No Truth on the Borrowing Spree
The President’s announcements regarding the investments of China or any countries never pertains to borrowing money from them. So far, we can only verify the Asian Development Bank’s investment on the major MRT infrastructure for the “Build Build Build” project. China so far got only the bid for the supplies of the construction like cement. Japan is also the contracting consortium. The Marcoses knew that borrowing from other countries is not an option because we have enough reserves for such investments. Only the destabilizers would cast a shadow on this to malign the Du30 administration.
The Marcos Wealth Stabilizes the Economy
Robredo also said that changing the constitution is not the solution to high prices and poverty. However, she does not have a good solution also. That made her incompetent. Instead of contributing to the country’s progress, she brings chaos into it for her own interests. The VP is so out of tune with the world’s situation. The country’s economy is far better than Japan as far as stability is concerned. The Marcos wealth for humanity is not a myth after all. We can feel it and the President puts it into the people’s advantage through the aggressive infrastructure project following the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos’ will.
While critics are busy stressing the “incompetence” issue between the President and Vice President Leni Robredo, an important message evaporates. Du30 stresses that he wants an election for the people to choose their leader. He does not want succession because he does not believe his VP can rule any country.

Incompetent VP as Reason for an Election
The President’s spokesman cites Vice President Leni Robredo’s alleged incompetence as the reason behind the request for a transition leader to be elected to oversee the shift to a federal form of government. The President is honest enough to say his apprehensions to the capability of the country’s second leader.
Transitory Provisions Review
Du30 asks the Consultative Committee tasked to review the Constitution to revise the transitory provisions in the draft of its proposed charter to allow him to step down from his post once the country goes federal. This will make way for the public to elect a new President who will oversee the transition to federalism. He is definitely not for the extension of power. However, former Bayan Muna Representative Neri Colmenares said,”It centralizes repressive powers in President Duterte.” This is because of the proposed revision to give authority to the president to appoint important officials. Many people speculate that he intends to appoint Bongbong Marcos as Prime Minister.
Stable Economy Despite World Crisis
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque denies that there is an economic problem contrary to the claims of the government’s detractors. He stresses that the Philippines is a “darling economy.” Inflation shows a fresh five-year high at 5.2 percent in June, but Roque has said this is no cause for alarm. This only means that “there’s money going around.” In fact, Japan, Korea, and China are competing in the bids to supply the Philippine’s “Build Build Build” project that is initially funded by the Asian Development Bank.
Roque attributes this to free tuition, lower withholding tax because of the tax reform law, and the administration’s aggressive infrastructure spending program. Robredo previously said changing the constitution is not the solution to high prices and poverty. It only proves how the VP is so out of tune with the world’s situation. The country’s economy is far better than Japan as far as stability is concerned.
Erwin Tulfo observes that whenever the VP in waiting, Bongbong Marcos is his guest in the program, his social media accounts particularly Facebook is full of hearts. Many might say that money can manipulate the people’s online tool. However, digital marketing experts know that it takes passion and great public interest to be viral on the web.

Marcos Infrastructure Template
The people welcome the news that ADB or Asian Development Bank is actually the provider of funds for the Manila-Clark MRT. Not the Chinese or the Japanese governments. ADB follows the World Bank concept. The Marcos gold deposits for the welfare of humanity at the World Bank can actually guarantee the “Build Build Build” project of the current administration.
The President’s Strategy
PresidentRodrigo Du30 from the start knew what’s he’s doing. It is notable that the leader uses the unprofessionalism of some media entities to confuse the opposition. Du30’s media boasts that the Chinese diplomats offered to fund his projects already have negative contexts. That the leader allegedly goes through a borrowing spree. The truth is, the Japanese contractors are responsible for the construction. They get their funding from the ADB.
Electoral Protest Update Through Social Media
The PET currently acknowledges the anomalies found as per the observations of Bongbong Marcos. It even issues another order for the local officials of Camarines Sur and Iloilo to explain the issues in the revisors’ incident reports specifically about the excess ballots in favor of VP Leni Robredo. The President and the Marcos camp are not happy over the tremendous delay. Nevertheless, they can only do lawful actions under the Philippine constitution. The President floats the idea of Federalism again.
Smartmatic in Election 2019
Marcos expresses his views that since the PET already confirms that there were indeed anomalies in 2016 elections, Smartmatic must not take part anymore in providing the digital voting machines. The process to find a replacement must be undertaken this early. Nevertheless, this seems not a priority of the three branches of government. Meanwhile, the former Senator continues to tour the nation to see how he can help. More hearts are about to flow via social media, an indication that the majority of Filipinos are looking forward to his return to the executive level of our government.
The Supreme Court that as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) finally acknowledges many irregularities in the May 2016 elections. They are found during the recount of the vice presidential results as per the electoral protest of former senator Bongbong Marcos.

BEI to Explain Irregularities to the Supreme Court
The PET found irregularities in Camarines Sur and Iloilo. These are the pilot provinces of Marcos’ protest against Vice President Leni Robredo. In a resolution dated June 19, 2018, the PET ordered a municipal treasurer and a chairman of the Board of Election Inspectors in Camarines Sur to explain the irregularities found in their ballot boxes.
Many irregularities are found on day one. There are wet ballots among others. These are the observations of the Marcos camp from the start. That was when the ballot boxes become recount ready. The revisors initially found that 38 out of 40 ballot boxes are open. These are from the town of Bato, Camarines Sur. Missing audit logs are also a common occurrence. Robredo quickly disputes this as misinformation instead of looking deeply into the situation.
The PET’s Acknowledgment
The PET also acknowledges that some ballot boxes are already open prior to their arrival at the Supreme Court. One ballot box is without the broken security seal. It also issues another order dated July 3, 2018. It takes note of the many incident reports of the Revision Committee in the revision of votes from Iloilo showing excess ballots.
Robredo is Misinformed
The current news on the protest reveals that even the PET is doing something against the anomalies. They are not just transparent enough to update the people on the ongoing findings. The aim is for a peaceful process. Therefore, the tribunal may soon come out with a blast.
