Military Rule Preference Paves the Way for Bongbong Marcos’ Return

military

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The Congress now approves the President’s request to extend the military rule in Mindanao. In fact, the Mindanao block is unanimous with their Yes votes. Lawmakers there said that when their constituents hear the term Martial Law, they are happy. It simply means peace for them. This is contrary to the black media propaganda against Bongbong Marcos. Now that the recount of his electoral protest against Leni Robredo nears, more truths about his late father’s reign unfold. Thus ending the so-called Marcos stigma.

End of Rebellion and Terrorism

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana on Wednesday is grateful to the Congress for granting the Presiden’s request to extend martial law in Mindanao for another year. He vows that security forces take this opportunity to rid the region of threats to peace and order. Lorenzana assures Filipino legislators that the military and the police would “end” rebellion and terrorism in Mindanao.  The destruction of the Islamic State-inspired infrastructure and other terror groups in the area is near.

Overwhelming Votes for Military Rule

The Department of National Defense is thankful for the trust and confidence of legislators. The House votes are overwhelming to accede to Du30’s request to keep martial law in place in Mindanao until Dec. 31, 2018. Both chambers of Congress, spent less than half a day to approve such request. The Senate voted 14-4 while the House gave its concurrence through a 226-23 margin.

Opponents’ Fear

Opponents of the extension contend that to allow it could pave the way for the declaration of military rule nationwide. A rise in the number of human rights cases can happen. They also said that there is no basis for the continuing placement of Mindanao, a region of 22 million, under martial law. Salvador Medialdea, the executive secretary of the president, however, reiterates that these fears are not logical because the military and the police respect the Constitution in conducting their operations.

Happy with Martial Law

The Filipino masses are therefore happy with the martial law. Only the media under the control of the government’s detractors are tainting its name. The reactions of Mindanao lawmakers only put much sense to the former Senator Juan Ponce Enrile’s disclosure that the late Ferdinand Marcos used martial law to save the country from communists and terrorists just like today. That is a very welcoming note for Bongbong Marcos’ expected recount victory.

Psychic Views on Pnoy after Blocking Bongbong Marcos Raise Eyebrows

Psychic

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Pnoy is vocal enough to block the return of a Marcos. But nothing seems to stop destiny. Psychic Gurmeet Kals predicts that Bongbong Marcos is to rise as a winner in the February 2018 recount against VP Leni Robredo. In fairness to the former President Aquino, life goes on for him. That includes getting married. The manifestations are not just shown by Gurmeet but also during his interview after one year in office except the marriage hint.

Video by;  Rappler

[VIDEO]: Former Philippine President Benigno Aquino III talks about his realizations a year after office, the state of the nation during the first year of the Duterte administration, and charges filed against him by the Ombudsman.

LP Manipulations Weakened

Manipulations abound but the truth prevails in  Marcos’ favor, Gurmeet discloses. Ups and downs are normal, he added. Marcos may lose something to gain something big that hits his rival like a bombshell. The process discloses cheating and deception by his political rivals.  He comes back to power in an honest, decent and strong manner.

Marcos is Good  for the Philippines

Gurmeet continues that Marcos is good for the government and the country. Some exceptional rules against corruption and perpetrators are set during his time. Legal documents prove his great power.

Strong Aquino Foundation

Benigno Aquino III or Pnoy has a very strong foundation, Gurmeet said. He has the strength and determination to face obstacles and adversities in life. Charges against him will not stand a chance. But he has to bear various public criticisms.

Eyebrow-Raising Prediction

Former President Aquino ties the knot with someone in 2018.  This is during summertime, Gurmeet hinted. His supporters welcome this news if true but most anti-Aquino can’t stop but raise their eyebrows. Such feelings are definitely influenced by negative comments via social media about him.

Justices Hint on Sereno’s Dictatorship – Is this Beneficial to Bongbong Marcos?

dictatorship

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Associate Justice Teresita Leonardo-de Castro’s earlier testimony is supported by two other justices. She calls on the attention of the chief justice ever since. They claim that after 5 years, Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno still fails to ask the en banc. De Castro even asked; Until when will we suffer? As she implies on Sereno’s dictatorship at the SC. Bongbong Marcos, on the other hand, said that Sereno’s plight must not affect the recount for his election protest in February 2018 against Leni Robredo. Their proceeding is under the Tribunal. It might be favorable not to have an anti-Marcos as Chief Justice in a long run but for now, he can only see further delay in the ruling if she is impeached.

[VIDEO]: Four justices of the Supreme Court – 3 incumbent and one retired – stand as witnesses in the impeachment case filed against Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.

Justices Criticize Sereno’s Dictatorship

Several associate justices of the Supreme Court openly criticize Chief Justice Sereno for mistakes she apparently makes during her 5-year term. “I believe that the actions of the chief justice from the time that she assumed her position showed no respect or courtesy to the court en banc,” said Associate De Castro. The House committee on justice continues to hear the impeachment case against Sereno.

Disregarding the En Banc

“I do not disagree with the characterizations made by Deputy Speaker Hernandez,” said Associate Justice Francis Jardeleza. He refers to South Cotabato 2nd District Representative Ferdinand Hernandez. Hernandez asks the SC justices if they are insulted by Sereno’s apparent habit of making decisions on her own. This is without consulting the en banc which refers to all 15 justices of the Supreme Court, including Sereno.

Advice to the Supreme Court CJ

“We are a very small group in the Supreme Court. I would tell her, don’t go that route. You are getting what you want through these devious means that are not right,” added retired associate justice, Arturo Brion. The House committee deliberates over 7 hearing days a complaint filed by lawyer Larry Gadon against Sereno. Among his allegations is that Sereno curtailed the power of the Supreme Court en banc, a collegial body, by making decisions on her own.

Complaints that Led the Impeachment Case

Aside from Sereno’s alleged dictatorship, the establishment of the Regional Court Administrator’s Office (RCAO) in Region VII is also under scrutiny. These are on top of t the issuance of a temporary restraining order in the proclamation of party-list group winners and the transfer of the Maute cases from Marawi City to Taguig City. The committee is set to vote by January 2018 – whether to accept or reject it.

Bongbong Marcos and Robredo’s Exchanges: Fake VP Versus Fake Protest?

protest

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Bongbong Marcos Camp’s spokesperson, Atty. Vic Rodriguez said that the former Senator is more than ever determined to see the real results of the manual recount to eject the fake vice president. VP Leni Robredo’s lawyer, Atty. Romulo, however, retaliates and says that “ there is no such thing as ‘fake VP’. But there is such thing as ‘fake protest’. He trusts that contrary to Marcos’ wishes, Robredo can clear her victory once the recount is completed,” Macalintal said.

[VIDEO]: Can the Recount Put Closure to the VP Election Protest of Bongbong Marcos?

Closure or Disunity after Protest?

The recount scheduled for February 2018 can either bring closure or more disunity depending on how it is processed. This is in connection with Bongbong Marcos’ election protest against VP Leni Robredo. Clean election advocates already scrutinize the ballot retrieval process of the pilot provinces namely; Camarines Sur, Iloilo and Negros Oriental.

Robredo’s Territory First

Macalintal said that the first ones to count are the ballots from the clustered precincts in Camarines Sur. It’s the vice president’s home province. The ballot retrievals are set on January 22, 2018. The recount should start by the second week of February. This two other pilot provinces can then follow.

Marcos’ Choices

The Supreme Court that sits as the PET, begins in February 2018 the recount of votes. It covers the three pilot provinces of Camarines Sur, Iloilo and Negros Oriental. Marcos chooses them as the best provinces. He’s certain that he could prove the irregularities alleged in his protest there.

Did not Pay a High Price to Lose

If Marcos could not prove any substantial recovery of votes from these three pilot provinces, his protest will be dismissed for lack of merit. This is under the PET Rules, Macalintal said. In Camarines Sur alone, P9.6 million would be charged to Marcos’ cash deposit for the retrieval of ballots, salaries, and allowances of employees, security, transportation, and other expenses.

Macalintal’s Disclosure on Bongbong Marcos’ Election Recount Consequence Suspicious

election

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Atty. Romulo Macalintal said it first that the election recount of Bongbong Marcos’ protest against VP Leni Robredo is at the second week of February. The review of ballots from the contested clustered precincts in Camarines Sur, the vice president’s home province, is the priority. The retrieval is on January 22, 2018. The Supreme Court finally confirms it the next day.

[VIDEO]: VP manual vote recount in 3 provinces to start in February 2018

Macalintal’s Disclosure

Macalintal explains that if Marcos could not prove any irregularity from the three pilot provinces, his protest is to be dismissed for lack of merit. Marcos’ three pilot provinces are Camarines Sur, Iloilo and Negros Oriental. For Camarines Sur alone, Macalintal said that P9.6 million is chargeable to Marcos’ cash deposit for the retrieval of ballots, salaries, and allowances of employees, security, transportation, and other expenses.

Meeting on Election Recount Regulations

Macalintal and Marcos’ lawyer, George Garcia, was at the SC for a  meeting on the regulations governing the recount of votes. A tour of the venue for the recount process followed. Macalintal is confident that the recount will “confirm and affirm the victory of Robredo as VP in the May 2016 elections.

Accurate Count

If the recount of ballots for local elective officials matches with the official election results, a national position would be similar. This is because the ballots used for the local and national elective positions are the same. They are counted and tallied by the same VCMs and CCS, said Macalintal.

Disclosure or Sabotage?

Many wondered why Macalintal announces the recount date first before the Supreme Court. He also insinuates that the recount results for the pilot areas would be the same as the final tallies. He based his disclosure on the past recounts since 2010. Doubts about his camp’s honesty loom because of his overconfidence. They asked why he is so sure of his insights if they have not done any moves to make sure that both results are identical? For sure, advocate for a clean election, Atty. Glenn Chong is on vigil with the recount processes as Macalintal acted suspiciously.
