Credit is Due to President Du30: Nation Building with another Marcos is a Better One

credit

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

During the commemoration of Yolanda’s (Haiyan) first anniversary last November 8, 2014, former Mayor Alfred Romualdez, Bongbong Marcos’ cousin urged the Aquino administration to build back Tacloban for them. He lamented that the priority was not building back their lives. The previous government was always after the economy and they don’t get a good share of that. Recently, Marcos himself inspects the place and other parts of Leyte that needed rehabilitation. He is happy to announce that the credit for building better is due to the current President Du30.

Building a More Egalitarian System of Government

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos said he is planning to return to politics as president of the Philippines. This is years after he lost as the country’s second-highest leader. In an interview, Marcos said he is aspiring to get the government’s top post. “My career is political, and, of course, you aspire to as high a stature within your chosen field as you can achieve – and that would be president in my case,” he said. Marcos added that he will build a “more egalitarian system of government.”

A Society with Equal Opportunities

Egalitarian is relating to or believing in the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities. It cannot be denied that there’s a big gap between the rich and the poor in the country today. The masses certainly do not have the same access to quality training, networking, credit or investment facilities than those who can afford them.

Bring Back Nation Building

“In my father’s administration, I kept hearing ‘nation-building’, and I do not hear that phrase anymore,” he said. “It’s more politicking than nation-building,” Marcos added. He was also quick to dismiss corruption allegations against his family, saying: “None of the cases that were filed against us have been won.” Despite the accusations, he suffers on behalf of his father, he remains forgiving and still aims for unity among Filipinos.

The Return of another Marcos is a Better One

The younger Marcos is believed to lead the nation at one point. This is the prediction of unbiased political analysts, astrologers, and fortune tellers. Uncertainties might loom in his VP electoral protest against Vice President Leni Robredo for cheating during the 2016 election. However, this also serves as a good way of promoting his presidential bid may it be for 2019 or 2022. Regardless, the credit still goes to the good President Du30 who believes in the Marcoses.

Bongbong Marcos Opposes Election Recount Special Treatment for Robredo

election

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Bongbong Marcos reiterates how Vice influential President Leni Robredo can be with the Supreme Court should her petition to lower the election shading threshold from 50% to 25% in the middle of the recount is successful. The PET earlier junks Robredo’s said petition but she submits a motion for reconsideration. Marcos also firmly opposes the plea in a separate petition not to grant her request.

[VIDEO]: Bongbong Marcos disagrees with the petition of Vice President Leni Robredo to make the election recount threshold at 25%.

Playing the Underdog

VP Robredo fails to convince the public that she’s the underdog in the VP race protest against her by Marcos. She keeps on accusing the latter of masterminding fake news that allegedly maligns her reputation. The vice president further accuses Marcos and said that unfortunately for her, former Senator “has the money to spend to damage her character.”

The President’s Hand

However, the Marcos loyalists are passionate enough to fight for what they believe in without the said well-oiled infrastructure that the VP is famous for. They are grateful enough to be recognized as followers of the son of the greatest leader the Philippines ever had. President Rodrigo Du30 is himself is a believer of the late President Marcos. He is the only President after the older Marcos to continue his massive development plans for the country. Build, Build, Build and the likes.

Supreme Court is still Dominated by Caguioa

Previously, Gov. Imee Marcos expresses her concern on Supreme Court Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa’s loyalty to the previous administration headed by his classmate who appointed him in the position, Former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III. His being the Chair of the PET put’s her brother’s case in uncertainty as seen in his various bias rulings in favor of Robredo.

Gossip vs. Facts

The media mechanism of Robredo is now busy launching a reputation management campaign for her. However, there’s not much they can do with the reasonings of the VP. If being quiet against fake news did not work for her, she will surely be hooked from her own mouth. She should address issues as they are like what Bongbong Marcos is doing.

Supreme Court Justice: The People Versus Ex-Pnoy’s Naive Political Prostitutes, VP Robredo and CJ Sereno

Supreme Court

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Vice President Leni Robredo in support of Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, who faces potential ouster from the Supreme Court (SC)  said that as the duly-elected Vice President, she “will do everything in her power to right the wrong.” Robredo said this at the Free the Courts forum of the University of the Philippines (UP). She criticizes the quo warranto petition as the “final blow to the justice system. Her reference to herself as the “duly-elected Vice President,” garnered applause from the limited crowd of LP supporters. This is significant because of her questionable status. The recount of the votes in the protest filed by former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. or Bongbong Marcos is still ongoing. Many of her supporters are even convinced that she’s not the genuine VP because of the anomalies witnessed by real people. She’s just too naive to admit LP’s wicked works during the 2016 election – just like Sereno’s refusal to resign despite the calls from her peers.

The Supreme Court Votes

Speculations abound that the Supreme Court will vote on the petition by May 11, 2018, and that the numbers seem to be against the Chief Justice. Some lawyers are protesting the alleged unconstitutionality of ousting a Chief Justice in a route outside of impeachment. Sereno herself said that her colleagues who are unfavorable to her from the start cannot oust her from the position.

Massive  Cheating

There was massive cheating at the polls in 2016. The presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte reportedly got 21 million votes and ended up with only 16 million. The 5 million votes reportedly went to candidate Mar Roxas, who was fourth in the pre-poll surveys — next to Grace Poe and Jojo Binay — but went up to No. 2 after the ballots were counted. Duterte was so far ahead that all the cheating the Liberal Party did was in vain.

LP’s Back-Up Plan

So, failing to put Roxas in the No. 1 position in the presidential race, the LP had to make his vice presidential bet Robredo win at all cost. That’s the reason Bongbong Marcos was leading Robredo, her closest rival, by about 1 million votes on the night of May 14; but the people were shocked to find that she had overtaken him when they woke up the following morning.

Too Naive

Robredo might not know the maneuverings of her own party as she was too naive to even think of cheating. A supporter said that her husband Jesse always won handily in the elections for mayor of Naga City. Therefore she cannot imagine losing even if it against a popular rival such as Marcos. However, she absolutely give-in to those fraudulent acts as soon as she agreed to be LP’s political prostitute. This goes the same to Chief Justice Sereno. The people on the other hand, continue to show forces behind Marcos through their affiliations like the INC’s Guinness record-breaking charity walk and the Marcos Loyalists Movement gatherings nationwide.

Can Robredo Insist that Marcos Supporters are NOT Real after INC’s Longest Human Sentence Guinness Record?

Guinness

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) or Church of Christ bags the Guinness World Record for the longest human sentence on Sunday. About 23,235 participants clad in various colors form the sentence: “Proud to be a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo.” It is an international charity walk held locally at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. INC leaders previously inquire on where their votes for Bongbong Marcos as Vice President went. The church has a block voting tradition. Just recently, VP Leni Robredo said that Marcos’ supporters are not real people. Perhaps, this display of around 1.2 to 1.5 million proves her wrong.

[VIDEO]: Gov. Imee Marcos attends INC’s award ceremony for bagging the longest human sentence Guinness World Record.

INC Beats Indian Record

Guinness adjudicator Paulina Sapinska said that the INC beats previous record-holder India, which formed the sentence “you can you will” with 16,550 students on August 10, 2016. This was during their celebration of World Youth Day. The INC’s winning version was done during its Worldwide Walk to Fight Poverty. It is also happening simultaneously in 43 other countries across 18 time zones.

About 1.2 to 1.5 Crowd Estimate

Supt. Erwin Margarejo, Manila Police District (MPD) spokesperson, estimates the crowd at 1.5 million. They occupy 1.6-kilometers (km) from the Cultural Center of the Philippines up to Salas St. along Roxas Boulevard. About 700 policemen from the Southern Police District and 200 personnel from the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) were to secure the area. The walk starts at 6 a.m. in Manila. It is also being held simultaneously in Davao Oriental, Abra, Bicol, Albay, Benguet, Aurora, Pangasinan, Calamian, Quezon province, and Iloilo.

International Event

INC members are also doing the same in 43 other countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France. The group attempts to hold four other official Guinness titles: the largest picture mosaic formed by people, most nationalities in a charity walk, the largest charity walk in a single venue, and even break its own record for largest charity walk across multiple venues which it previously held in 2014.

First Worldwide Walk

The Guinness Book of World Records recognizes the INC’s first Worldwide Walk since 2014 as the largest charity walk across multiple venues held in 24 hours. The number of participants initially starts at 519,221 individuals in 129 sites in 16 countries. This year’s event is just massive. Gov. Imee Marcos’ presence during the awarding ceremony hints that she may also be an endorsee of the INC for the 2019 Senatorial Race just like her brother for VP in the 2016 election.

888 News Forum: How Bongbong Marcos Fights Corruption as President

corruption

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

acting workshop

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos is the recent guest of Cebu’s prestigious 888 News Forum anchored by Elias Baquero. This is where analytical media representatives exchange views and opinions about the country’s important issues with experts in their field. It is undeniable that Marcos has big chances of becoming the top Philippine leader like his father. A question on how he can address corruption under Federalism when he becomes President confronts him which he logically addressed.

Youtube video by; Elena Grace Flores
[VIDEO]: Bongbong Marcos said that solving corruption is an ongoing thing. Vigorous exercise of laws must be imposed.

Corruption under the Federalism Agenda

Marcos answers the question: Is corruption under your Federalism agenda when you become President? He replied: It is not necessarily in the Federalism agenda. He thinks that everybody can fight against corruption – not just the President. There must be political will on the issue. It happens in any organization. Equal and vigorous imposition of the law is a must, he said.

Previous Administration is a Bad Example

Marcos claims that there are incidents in the past administration that corruption is dealt with unfairly despite the strong evidence presented. They tend to favor those who are in their alliance and condemn those who are in the opposition.

Constant Approach

Since corruption is a natural tendency in the society, no one can get rid of it at once. There must be a vigorous and equal application of the law. No group should get a favor and condemn another. It is not an acceptable idea to stop dealing with it. It can go on if not constantly vigilant.

Fairness in the Marcos Presidency

Certain issues are taken up in the 888 News Forum. Most of Marcos’ plans as shown in his answers to the questions raised show fairness in his judgment. Political dynasty, election integrity, infrastructure, federalism, and corruption are some of the major issues. This is the kind of forum that intellectual Filipinos must pay attention to unlike the highly political in nature press conferences elsewhere. Kudos to the Cebuano journalists and to the founders of 888 News Forum at Marco Polo Hotel.
