Liberal Media Points Out: Wrong Perception on Drug War Killings is Triggered by Misleading Captions

Liberal

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The President defends his bloody war on drugs. He tells Southeast Asian lawyers that he is “demonized” by it. Du30 denies allegations of state-sponsored killings of both drug dealers and users. Meanwhile, a Liberal media also justifies the publication of its peer. This is the misconception on the popularized Pietà – like visual. The caption of this image somewhat says;  “Jennelyn Olaires weeps as she hugs partner Michael Siaron. He is 30, a pedicab driver. Siaron was killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen. This was near Pasay Rotonda on Edsa.” His death is one of the six drug war deaths in the area on that day. It certainly did not blame the PNP. However, due to the mention of the drug war or drug-related incidents, it created a notion that the administration is behind it.

[VIDEO]: BEWARE THIS IS BLACK MEDIA PROPAGANDA – The Kill List: The Brutal Drug War in the Philippines

Actual Liberal Caption

What can one think that amidst the drug war, news headlines and captions are added with misleading phrases like the line highlighted below?

Church: “Thou Shall Not Kill”

BANNER PHOTO. The caption of this Inquirer photo on July 24, 2016, is as follows: ‘A weeping Jennelyn Olaires hugs partner Michael Siaron, 30, a pedicab driver an alleged drug pusher, who was shot and killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen near Pasay Rotonda on Edsa. He was one of six killed in drug-related incidents in Pasay and Manila yesterday.’ Screenshot from www.inquirer.net

This is a clearly confusing but the media involved blames the Pro-administration journalist and officials instead for defending the President from the misunderstanding.

Human Rights Criticisms

The Du30 administration’s human rights record is strongly criticized by Western countries. It is one of the issues US President Donald Trump plans to raise on a visit to Manila next month to attend perhaps the ASEAN summit. The President tells the ASEAN Law Association that while some things against him were true, he did not order extrajudicial killings of drug suspects as his critics insinuate.

The President’s Statement

President Du30 said;

“I know that I have been demonized. And well, of course, I will assure you upon my oath as a lawyer and before God that some are true, some are not. And the extrajudicial tag that has been placed on me is simply not true.”

The above statement is actually factual given the reactions of the Human Rights bodies here and abroad. Not to mention the international community’s condemnation of the President’s alleged drug war actions.

What the President Really Said

Du30, however, clarifies that he warned drug peddlers that he would kill them if they destroyed the country. This includes the youth that he was duty-bound to protect as President. If doubts if anyone could fault him for making that statement. Recently, he also discloses that there seems like a twist in teenager killings. That has something to do with drug couriers but the PNP has yet to complete their investigation.

Macalintal Belittles Bongbong Marcos on his Supreme Court Demands

supreme court

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Leni Robredo’s lawyer, Atty. Romulo Macalintal mocks Bongbong Marcos for petitioning the Supreme Court or the PET to assign three hearing officers for his election protest. He also belittles him for his alleged impatience urging the SC to expedite the process. He insinuates that Marcos cannot wait to be in power.

Youtube video by; Elena Grace Flores
[VIDEO]: Vice President Leni Robredo’s lawyer on Wednesday criticized former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for petitioning the Supreme Court, sitting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), to assign three hearing officers for his poll protest.

Premature Move

Election lawyer, Macalintal describes Marcos’ move as “very premature.” Marcos’ call was apparently aimed at giving satisfaction to the public interest by giving them the answer as to where their votes went for the Vice Presidential race. The veteran lawyer mocks the action as if the 15-member PET will believe his claims before it could hear the case.

Pending Issues

Macalintal reminds the public that the PET has to decide yet if it would act on the three main issues which Marcos mentioned in his election protest. This is on top of their camp’s pending resolutions considered as their delaying tactics by Marcos’ lawyers. The high court is scheduled to take up the matter during its preliminary conference on June 21.

Urgency

Robredo’s camp throws back rumors unto Marcos that she is in a hurry to be president. The Liberal Party players are already worried of the president’s silence about Marcos in these past few months. They are suspecting that some influences are gearing up into putting him as Du30’s successor. Macalintal insinuates that Marcos is not only impatient to be Vice President but might be aiming for the presidency.

Bout for the Presidency

Do this concerns mean that Robredo is actually defending her chance to be president and not just the VP post? It is very obvious that LP members are indeed disturbed with this scenario that Marcos will eventually end up to be president sooner rather than later. Just review the media propaganda from various pro-LP publication both online and offline.

Anti-Marcos Propaganda Destroys Binay: Most Trusted Public Official for 30 Years – Most Corrupt Only in 2016

Binay

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Do you hate Binay? Then better check this logic. He is the Philippines’ most trusted public official for 30 years and yet becomes most corrupt only when he runs for president in 2016. The media propaganda formula used here is very similar to Ninoy Aquino’s media stint that made the best president of the country the most corrupt only after he was toppled during the EDSA revolution.

Youtube video by; ABS-CBN News
[VIDEO]: MANILA – Vice-President Jejomar Binay is back to being the most trusted among the country’s top five officials, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey, but that may not be enough to catapult him to the presidency next year.

How can the Most Trusted Suddenly become Corrupt in an Instant?

Vice-President Jejomar Binay has been the most trusted among the country’s top five officials, according to Pulse Asia survey. Until in the May 30 to June, 2015  survey Binay and President Aquino are the only ones among the top five officials of government to obtain the trust and appreciation of the majority of Filipinos.

The Senate Blue Ribbon Drama Did it

Various allegations of corruption from alleged Hacienda Binay to Makati Building 2 overprice dramas perpetuated by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and other senators like Allan Peter Cayetano and Koko Pimentel totally destroyed Binay’s reputation. The government agencies are used to discredit Binay’s claims through intimidation during questionings. The COA and AMLC reports are given different meanings through impartial records. In the end, Trillanes is out on bail for the libel case filed by Binay as well as their star witness, Makati ex-mayor Ernesto Mercado,

Pnoy’s Vengeance for Supporting Bongbong Marcos

Pnoy’s wrath is obvious when Binay declines from the former president’s plea to block Bongbong Marcos from the Vice Presidential race. Instead, the Binay camp led by Pastor Boy Saycon launches the Bi-Bong campaign as endorsed by his running mate, Senator Gringo Honasan who also ran for the same position. Binay urges Pnoy to give a clean and honest election. It turns out that the last election was indeed fraudulent.

Phone Protection: NQ Mobile Security 2 years or NQ Mobile Security 1 year

Marcos Electoral Protest Support

The Binay camp bravely shows the senate evidence and witnesses of alleged fraudulent activities. These are not hearsays because the witnesses themselves are the doers of the said acts. They all point to the Liberal Party people as the mastermind of the vote manipulation tricks. Binay does not aim for Marcos to be Vice President only but like Digong, he wants him to be President in the near future.

Duterte’s Influence: Reconciliation and Friendship with China – the Marcos Way

Marcos

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Time has passed quickly and many forget that the Chinese are out brothers. Media propaganda might have played the scene to destroy the Philippines-China relations but now, it has been restored. Guess what, Bongbong Marcos, the middle child and only son of the late strongman is also one of Duterte’s Philippine delegation. Filipinos in Beijing cannot hide their joy seeing in person the new Vice President of the Philippines if he wins the electoral protest.

Youtube video: Chairman Ferdinand E. Marcos
[VIDEO]: Ferdinand E. Marcos and THE CHINESE EMPIRE
A documentary film on the State Visit of President and Mrs. Ferdinand E. Marcos to China in 1975 and the opening of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and the People’s Republic of China.

Restoration of Friendship with China

President Rodrigo Duterte is not the first President who made friends with China. Way back in 1975, it was done by the late President Ferdinand Marcos. The Marcoses comprised it’s biggest delegation at that time. The class and charisma of the Marcoses are evident in this event. Something that Filipinos can be proud of.

Close to Filipinos’ Hearts

It cannot be denied that more Filipinos are longing for the Marcoses’ return to the highest office in the country. After all, the nation is more prosperous during Marcos’s 20-year reign. It was the time when Filipinos were so proud of the first family – wherever they represent the country to the world. Many are longing to make those times come back. Despite the resistance of the alleged martial law victims perpetrated by media propaganda.

Financial and Trade Relations

Previous joint ventures halted as soon as the outcome of the U.S.-backed EDSA revolution sets in. The Americans detest Marcos’s friendship with the Chinese. Naturally, as a pay back, the Aquino rulers must prioritize dealings with America over China. That setup deteriorizes when the China-U.S. rivalry arises. Despite poor deals, the Aquinos must stick to the Americans and disregard our Asian neighbor.

China’s Trademark

The little girl giving flowers to Duterte in the welcome event during his state visit in China resembles that when the late President Marcos steps into the Chinese land at the airport. Joined with his family, they were welcomed warmly by Chinese leaders under the leadership of Chairman Mao Tse-tung.

Wrong Speculation

Poverty then during the Golden age was obviously blamed to the Marcos family. The American media were particular in using the former first lady’s 3,000 pair of shoes. They also came up hilarious accusations of Imelda’s expensive shopping spree. They assumed that they have stolen the money from the people even without proofs. Stealing money from the people is not one of Ferdinand E. Marcos’ many sins.

No Violence for Marcos

The Aquinos should not fear the Marcoses. They are not violent people. They are just victims of media propaganda. The Marcos way is gentle, clever and diplomatic. It is about time that a Marcos take over the nation’s reign. Because despite the unfair treatments they have experienced, revenge is never in their hearts. The only way Philippines can heal.

Peaceful Sunday after Duterte Banned Giant Media

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
It’s the very first peaceful Sunday that I do not have to counteract against media propaganda from commercial media – as a fighter of media propaganda. I can feel President Rodrigo Duterte’s strategy in abruptly stopping media propaganda is working – by just banning them from his live press conferences to stop all the impartial and exaggerated news reporting. They can pester all they want about people lining up to use the portalette during Mr. President’s thanksgiving party because it will not hurt the country.

It has been a perception for the Filipino masses that if it’s reported by ABS-CBN and GMA, they should be true. Of course, these two TV channels are really good as entertainment providers but they can be bias when it comes to political or public news announcements because of ownership entitlements and sponsorship. After all, they are paid media.

The President, even not yet officially in office already showed his capabilities in immediately stopping unfair operations – what more if he is already sitting inside Malacanang? This is pretty exciting to follow. I am thankful that due to my preference on who to support in the last national election and for reporting only about the truth despite the many criticisms I got, I gained access to the real happenings through my ever reliable informants who are advisers to the higher ups. I did not vote for the President of course because even if he has the same goals as my presidentiable, I just did not like his style – but everything has a purpose and I was one of the very first ones to find out about the strategic alliance. To all my pro Binay colleagues on social media, remember the very first message from V.P. Binay? Do not attack Duterte because he is also for Binay. Now the very big challenge is on – Duterte-Marcos-Binay alliance for better Philippines.
