Bongbong Marcos: ICC Must NOT Judge Us because We do not Judge Them

ICC

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

acting workshop

Bongbong Marcos reacts an hour after the news breaks that President Rodrigo Du30 withdraws the country’s membership from the ICC. The former Senator said that it is just right for the Filipino leader to defend the dignity of Filipinos after the international body’s unlogical criticisms and dictates to the President without full knowledge of the situations. The ICC must treat the Philippines as a mature sovereign nation, Marcos said. They should not judge us because we do not judge them, he added.

[VIDEO]: Bongbong Marcos agrees with the President’s withdrawal from the ICC because we are a mature sovereign nation and must be treated as such.

Avalanche of Withdrawals

The President’s spokesman, Atty. Harry Roque believes the Philippines’ withdrawal from the International Criminal Court is “the beginning of the end” for the court, as it will start an avalanche of withdrawal of other countries. The ICC violated its “complementarity” rule when it began its initial examination into the complaint against President Rodrigo Du30 in relation to the administration’s war on drugs.

Out of ICC’s Jurisdiction

Roque, who specializes in international law, stresses that the ICC, under its complementarity principle, can only exercise jurisdiction when domestic courts are unwilling or unable to do their work. This is not the case in the Philippines. The spokesman said he already brought the issue up before the ICC several times but he was ignored.

Major Powers are NOT Members

Roque points out that major powers such as the United States, Russia, and China are not even members. He is a former co-chairperson of the Philippine Coalition for the International Criminal Court. He was grateful to President Benigno Aquino III for the Philippines’ membership in 2011 but understands Du30’s point now. President Du30 decides to withdraw the Philippines’ ratification of a United Nations treaty that created the body. By withdrawing, the Philippines expects that it no longer has jurisdiction over the nation.

Anti and Pro-Administration

Marcos who is a staunch ally of the President hails his pulling out from the ICC. However, Senator Leila De Lima calls Du30 a coward for doing so. The people can very well see the kind of leaders and politicians from this incident.

Bongbong Marcos’ Echoes the Pope’s ‘Who am I to Judge’ View as the President Agrees on Same Sex Marriage

Same Sex Marriage

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Philippine President Rodrigo Du30 may displease local Roman Catholic bishops but not the Pope. Bongbong Marcos in 2016 echoes the head of the church’s same sex marriage view saying ‘Who am I to judge?’ It’s the talk of the town via social media when Du30 vow to protect the rights of homosexuals. He even invites them to nominate a representative to work in his government.

Pro Same Sex Marriage President

“I said I am for same-sex marriage – if that is the trend of the modern times,” the president said. “If that will add to your happiness, I am for it,” Du30 jokes that in his youth he was unsure of his sexual orientation. “Why impose a morality that is no longer working and almost passed?” “So I am with you,” he added.

‘Who am I to judge?’

In 2016, Bongbong Marcos cites the Pope’s reply to same-sex marriage queries. ‘Who am I to judge?’ The Pope humbly asked. Whatever the livelihood of these brothers and sisters of hours, for as long as they have not hurt other people, they deserve such respect, Marcos explained.

Unanimous with the President

Some people may use the bible to support their disagreement with same-sex marriage. However, if they insist on that, they also break other biblical rules which are more important. Love one another and do not judge. Besides, same-sex couples need the legal protection the same as heterosexual couples. As Bongbong Marcos said; Vox populi, vox dei, the voice of the people is the voice of God. That’s how we’ll follow,” Marcos elaborated.

Bongbong Marcos to the Americans: Filipinos are NOT Second Class Citizens

citizens

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
President Du30’s hot and cold relationship with the Americans started from the time of the late former President Ferdinand Marcos. His son, Bongbong Marcos explains that it was not his father’s intention to drive the American military bases away. He just couldn’t agree with the Parity Law that gives equal rights to Americans with the Filipinos in the country. The ex-leader insisted on the country’s sovereignty over its territory – and made it a point that Filipinos are not second class citizens.

[VIDEO]: Bongbong Marcos explains why the Americans started to have a grudge against his father who defended the Filipino sovereignty.

Equal Rights with Filipinos

On July 4, 1946, after Philippines’ independence from Japan, the economy was devastated by World War II. Payment of war damage claims by the U.S. government and an influx of capital were both desperately needed. The Bell Act set quotas on Philippine exports to the U.S., pegged the Philippine peso to the U.S. dollar at a rate of 2:1, and provided for free trade between the two countries for 8 years. That was to be followed by gradual application of tariffs for the next 20 years. Many Filipinos objected to the so-called Parity Amendment. It required an amendment to the Philippine constitution allowing U.S. citizens equal rights with Filipinos in the exploitation of natural resources and operation of public utilities. Nonetheless, some powerful Filipinos involved in these negotiations stood to benefit from the arrangement. The Marcos administration finally terminated the Parity officially on July 3, 1974

Du30’s Wrath over the Americans

As soon as President Du30 took office, He immediately criticized American interventions in his administration. However, he mellowed down when Donald Trump won. They are both controversial and share the same distaste with former President Barack Obama.

Would Rather Be Friendly

The President said he “would rather be friendly” now with the United States because they have “redeemed themselves” and “have helped us a lot”. The US “partly helped” when it was “challenged by the Japanese occupation” during World War II. “Even today, they provide crucial equipment to our soldiers in Marawi to fight the terrorists,” he added.

Trump’s Reaction

US President ‘Donald Trump’ hailed his “great relationship” with Du30. He made no mention of human rights during brief remarks to reporters prior to a meeting with his counterpart. Both leaders ignored shouted questions about the drugs crackdown during the ASEAN Summit. The American President might be different from his predecessors but he certainly knows how to respect the Filipino way of doing things.

Loyalists Insist that Ferdinand Marcos is a Hero More than Cory and Ninoy

Hero

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The Philippines marks the first year since the late President Ferdinand Marcos was buried a hero. This is upon the orders of the President following the law. The country recognizes the LNMB as its heroes’ cemetery and loyalists insist that he is indeed a hero. He has done a lot more than the so-called democracy icon, Cory Aquino and her rebel husband Ninoy.

[VIDEO]: Former president Ferdinand Marcos was buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani with full military honors past noon last November 18, 2016.

Minority Senators are Against but not the Majority

In government, minority senators criticize Marcos’ LNMB interment. Supporters of the Marcos family retaliate with calls to “move on.” They inspire Filipinos to focus on the country’s current problems, Then, work with the President towards progress. The majority can only support the Filipino leader. No one can deny he was a soldier, former President, and saved the country from the terrorists and communism.

More Struggles after EDSA

Marcos’ declaration of Martial Law instilled discipline among Filipinos. The golden era is still fresh in the minds of golden-agers. This is despite the media propaganda painting it from white to black. Poverty and alleged human rights violations escalate especially during and after the two consecutive Presidential terms of the Aquinos. However, incompetent acts are publicized only during the term of Du30, a Marcos ally.

The President’s Support

Critics repeatedly point out that the Philippines is once more led by a strongman. They accuse President Du30 of unfounded things – just to discredit Bongbong Marcos who is his preferred Vice President. Ferdinand Marcos’ namesake awaits the date for the recount on his election protest against VP Leni Robredo.

Injustice to Bongbong Marcos

The “simple and private” funeral rites, as requested by the Marcos family, were carried out last year. This aims to give closure to his family and supporters. However, his detractors cannot accept that finally, the truth prevails that the Aquinos are not the heroes but the brilliant Marcos.

Marcos’ Golden Wealth was Never Hidden – Senate Just Didn’t Listen

wealth

welcome By: Elena Grace Flore

Fr. Jose Antonio Diaz, the trusted confidant of the Tallano clan’s wealth made him the main negotiator and trustee of their gold. Fr. Diaz hired the services of then ATTY. FERDINAND E. MARCOS. The Tallanos paid commission to Fr. Diaz and Marcos in gold, 30% From the principal of 640, 000 metric tons. In 1949 both were in the list of the richest men in the world. When Fr. Diaz died in 1974 all gold became the legendary Marcos hidden wealth. This was after he signed a Letter of Instruction to use them for humanity. That is now referred to as Marcos wealth that detractors labeled as ill-gotten.

[VIDEO]: Imelda Romualdez Marcos is known for her extravagance, beauty, shoe collection and power. This was her interview in the “Powerhouse.”

In spite of this broadcast by one of the biggest media in the country that shows the shipping documents of the gold, most media still call them ill-gotten even if it’s not under the Marcoses’ name. That is why they always win all corruption cases. Despite all these, most mainstream media still refer to the gold reserves a Marcos’ alleged stolen wealth which is very misleading.

This video coincides with Imelda Marcos’ story. The World Bank and its sister organization, IMF (International Monetary Fund) are special organizations that sit on top of the world’s wealth. They are hidden in secrecy. 400,000 metric tons of them are in the Central Bank. 200,000 metric tons are in the Union Bank of Switzerland. The rest are shipped to more than 200 countries. Former First Lady Imelda Marcos is the keeper of the bill of lading.

Imelda Marcos Begged at the Senate

[VIDEO]: Philippine senators have grilled the widow of dictator Ferdinand Marcos on her claims that her husband owned much of Philippine’s treasures.

Former First Lady Imelda Marcos begged the Senate to help her implement her late husband’s Last Will and Testament. The wealth needs to be lifted out from the trustees’ jurisdiction to manifest his intention for the Marcos Humanitarian Foundation to help the economy and the poor or the Filipino people from their agony and suffering due to poverty. The President currently ordered the Congress and the Senate to look into this but no updates are given yet on this matter.

Bongbong Marcos on Political Come Back

[VIDEO]: Bandila also questioned Bongbong Marcos if he met the banker, Michael de Guzman to withdraw all deposits from his family’s Swiss accounts.

Regardless of the intimidating press interviews calling some of his wealth allegedly stolen, Bongbong Marcos is still sticking into what is legal. Some journalists here are obviously believing in the hearsay rather than dig out the truth from the official documentation that would prove otherwise. He has nothing to be sorry of, he said. History cannot be changed. Let it judge his father. He admits that only God can’t make mistakes. He is proud to be a Marcos for the opportunity to continue serving the people.

President Du30: Marcos’ Wealth Not Ill-Gotten

Youtube video by; Florame Allosa

[VIDEO]: Swiss accounts ni Marcos hindi nakaw
President Du30 said that there’s no evidence that the huge amount of Marcoses’ Swiss Account deposits are illegally acquired. It was just referred to as ill-gotten wealth because of the basis of their government salaries. Meaning to say that inheritance, wealth acquired prior to public service and other business income are not yet included.
