Credit is Due to President Du30: Nation Building with another Marcos is a Better One

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

During the commemoration of Yolanda’s (Haiyan) first anniversary last November 8, 2014, former Mayor Alfred Romualdez, Bongbong Marcos’ cousin urged the Aquino administration to build back Tacloban for them. He lamented that the priority was not building back their lives. The previous government was always after the economy and they don’t get a good share of that. Recently, Marcos himself inspects the place and other parts of Leyte that needed rehabilitation. He is happy to announce that the credit for building better is due to the current President Du30.

Building a More Egalitarian System of Government

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos said he is planning to return to politics as president of the Philippines. This is years after he lost as the country’s second-highest leader. In an interview, Marcos said he is aspiring to get the government’s top post. “My career is political, and, of course, you aspire to as high a stature within your chosen field as you can achieve – and that would be president in my case,” he said. Marcos added that he will build a “more egalitarian system of government.”

A Society with Equal Opportunities

Egalitarian is relating to or believing in the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities. It cannot be denied that there’s a big gap between the rich and the poor in the country today. The masses certainly do not have the same access to quality training, networking, credit or investment facilities than those who can afford them.

Bring Back Nation Building

“In my father’s administration, I kept hearing ‘nation-building’, and I do not hear that phrase anymore,” he said. “It’s more politicking than nation-building,” Marcos added. He was also quick to dismiss corruption allegations against his family, saying: “None of the cases that were filed against us have been won.” Despite the accusations, he suffers on behalf of his father, he remains forgiving and still aims for unity among Filipinos.

The Return of another Marcos is a Better One

The younger Marcos is believed to lead the nation at one point. This is the prediction of unbiased political analysts, astrologers, and fortune tellers. Uncertainties might loom in his VP electoral protest against Vice President Leni Robredo for cheating during the 2016 election. However, this also serves as a good way of promoting his presidential bid may it be for 2019 or 2022. Regardless, the credit still goes to the good President Du30 who believes in the Marcoses.

Stronger Alliance: President Du30 Shows High Regard to Bongbong, Imee Marcos & the Romualdez Couple in the Tacloban Event

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The Du30-Marcos alliance continues despite the slow progress of the VP electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos against Leni Robredo. The President is the guest of honor during the recent Sangyaw Festival in Tacloban. Mayor Cristina Romualdez meets the President upon his arrival. Bongbong Marcos, Gov. Imee Marcos, and Alfred Romualdez are also present.  They all gather in the place where the inefficiency of the previous administration is most felt during the devastation of typhoon Yolanda.

Sangyaw Festival

Sangyaw Festival is a religious and socio-cultural event in the Philippines. It was revived in 2008 by the city government of Tacloban, Philippines. Sangyaw means “to herald news” in Waray language. Various festival-participants from different parts of the country participate in this tribal procession. It is celebrated on the 29th day of June, as with the Pintados Festival celebration. Imelda Marcos, the former Philippine First Lady, conceptualized this festival on the year 1974.

The Most Beautiful Mayor

In the eyes of the President, Mayor Kring Kring or Cristina Romualdez is the most beautiful mayor not only in the Philippines but in the world. He gently explained that his compliment has no malice. He said it right from the heart.

It is not a secret that the President is very fond of Bongbong Marcos’ sister, Gov. Imee Marcos. She did not miss the event for the world. She serves as the backup force of the mayor. Du30 also commends the presence of Mayor Romualdez’ husband, former Mayor Alfred Romualdez.

Bongbong Marcos’ Smile Speaks of the Alliance

The former Senator might be disappointed with the anomalies during the ongoing recount but his smile says it all when it comes to his alliance with the President. He knows that it’s just a matter of time that the Du30-Marcos tandem would be realized. Actions speak louder than words at this point.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty Promo Budget was Spent on Tacloban

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
We all have the capabilities of helping others but some individuals are just exceptional in this area . Casey Neistat may not be that rich to give away $25.000 to the needy people in Tacloban after Typhoon Haiyan or Yolanda but it can be done with enormous creativity, talent, reputation and lots of determination in helping out people who are suffering. Watch this amazing concept:

what would you do with $25,000

Posted at YouTube by: CaseyNeistat

However, as gifted as he is, he could not have done it without the approval and directions of 20th Century Fox. This effort really did motivate, inspire and perhaps embraced by many as something that they can do in their own capacity. The question is, when can you do it? Remember that it’s not only Tacloban that is affected right now but the majority of the Eastern region of the Philippines! Time is of the essence and long-term solutions are also badly needed.

Roxas’ Statement is Poor Taste

By: Elena Grace Flores

At the height of the Typhoon Yolanda disaster, no Filipino will be thinking anymore that the Mayor of Tacloban is Romualdez, the maiden surname of former first lady Imelda Marcos and the President is Aquino, surname of the late President Cory Aquino and her son who is the current president. Although it’s unbelievable that this statement was uttered in the disaster debriefing. Read about this statement by Mar Roxas that exhibits his poor taste:

WATCH: Mar telling Tacloban mayor ‘You are a Romualdez and the President is an Aquino’

MANILA, Philippines – A video showing Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas’ meeting with Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez surfaced in the video sharing site, YouTube, on Monday.

It was the same day that Romualdez appeared before the congressional oversight committee on the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 at the Senate, where the mayor accused Roxas of playing politics at the height of the relief operations for the victims of super typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban City.

Mar Roxas’ justification why he said that poor statement is even more devious. His sarcasm when telling the media that the mayor may not have a clear mind anymore because of the intensity of the damages – added to his already deteriorating image. He sounds like a gossiping sissy in a beauty parlor. Wondering if the rumor is true!
