The behavior of popular boxers is changing to a better one because of Manny Pacquiao’s humble example. Despite becoming one of the best boxers in the world, he remained to be the lovable Manny Pacquiao. He is definitely not after only in winning but also in giving a great fight. Win or lose, we see him so honest and humorous about his experiences in the ring – good or bad! Read this very genuine article:
Manny Pacquiao gets paid whether he win or lose but for his family, it doesn’t matter if they become richer or not. You can sense the moral values our boxing hero is imparting to her children. Just like her daughter’s message to Timothy Bradley. It’s okay if you lose for as long as you are not hurt!, said Princess Pacquiao. Where else can she learn this from but from her father’s example when he was knocked out by his previous opponent – indeed the greatest insurance of a father’s legacy.

It was very stressful for Filipinos watching Manny Pacquiao’s recent bout with the undisputed Timothy Bradley. There he was – the 8th-time World Champion in the boxing arena fighting a fearless fighter who have not lost any fight yet and mind you, he might won top titles 8th times but while he was doing this, he did not have a single title left! Not until this unanimous win over Bradley. Read this:
It was very surprising that the aggressive opponent only had kind words to the new WBO Champ, Manny Pacquiao – after the rematch. Friendly and heartfelt gestures from the mother of Manny Pacquiao known as Aling Dionisia towards Bradley was also very rare but genuine. This clearly shows that in sports, it does not matter if you win or lose. It’s how you take it and move forward that matters most! Long live Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao!
The upcoming match between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley on Saturday night in Las Vegas will either confirm if Bradley was a worthwhile winner during their first bout or Pacquiao still has the winning punch that seems to be vanishing based on his latest performances. The Pacquiao – Bradley rematch will be aired on Sunday in the Philippines according to the conference call conducted by this online media recently:
Ultimately, this rematch is after all necessary to see if Manny Pacquiao will shine again to make his country proud once more. He is still in high spirits during the conference call according to this source – and very humble when asked about what he thinks about the decisions made against him – in favor of his previous opponents. Something to watch for indeed this weekend!

Some people might agree that Philippines is a poor country, where there’s no government welfare in place and no health system in store for the Filipino masses as portrayed in Manny Pacquiao’s documentary – but for sure, many can’t accept this. What about SSS, Philhealth and 4 Ps (Pangtawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) Assistance for the poorest of the poor – to name a few?
The Social Security System can be availed only when you are employed by accredited firms. Filipinos with ad hoc jobs in unregistered businesses can’t be a member of SSS of course – not unless you pay a voluntary subscription as self-employed. Philhealth covers 20 percent of medical bills when subscribed for at least 6 months at around 100 Pesos premium per month. There are anomalies also concerning the government assistance (4 Ps) because many families who are better off than their peers are beneficiaries of this assistance designed for people belonging to the less privilege smallest social unit of society.
Bottom line is, there’s financial support system in store for the citizens of the Philippines but due to corruption, people in remote places are not educated about these programs. On top of that, the funds allocated for these benefits are either misused by corrupt officials or unfairly distributed. If Philippines is really poor, why are there billions of taxes amassed by corrupt government officials? Poverty is all in the mind. Filipinos are rich with natural resources, culture and fighting spirit to be what want in this world of opportunities. If Manny Pacquiao can do it, why can’t others?
Manny ran away from home when he was 13 years old. The reason might be very traumatic for a child but think about it. If Manny Pacquiao did not have the reason to leave his family in Gensan, will he become the Great Filipino Boxer of today? Certainly, whether a circumstance is positive or negative, there’s always a reason for everything.
In Manny’s case, it was horrible to witness his own father grabbing his beloved pet dog, butcher it, cook and eat in front of him who was very emotional during that time. Even if this did not happen to us, we can only imagine the shock, disbelief and fear for the action made by the older Pacquiao. He might not be thinking straight at that time – but many fathers unfortunately in this part of the world have done the same or even worst!
Some impoverish people blame their status for the wrong doings committed. Others are just too dumb to recognize the right from the wrong actions or perhaps refused to know the difference of both to have excuses in life. Whatever the case may be, justice may not always be served but blessings are real too. No wonder – it’s always Aling Dionisia or Manny Pacquaio’s mother who always get the credits for the man that he is now!
