Several lawmakers and alleged victims of Martial Law issue a call after the President announces that the late President Ferdinand Marcos’s spokesman is willing to disclose the status of some wealth, including gold bars, to help the government’s deficit spending. They demand the return of all the perceived ill-gotten wealth. Set any condition for its return. Hold the Marcoses accountable for their patriarch’s strategy to preserve the economy through World Bank deposits.

[VIDEO]: KAYAMANAN NI MARCOS IBIBIGAY NA SUPORTA SA ADMINISTRASYONG DUTERTE
Loretta Ann Rosales who is a proud torture victim during the Marcos regime said that the Marcoses “will have to be accountable for something they took from the government. Du30 earlier said that they are now willing to give.” However, the President only said spokesman and no mention of any family member. Imelda Marcos even denies knowing about it. “That will be an admission that the father was a plunderer,” said Rosales. This is a clear sign of her bitterness if not greediness without knowing the facts.
Malacañang said the President looks after the Filipinos’ best interest. Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella clarifies that Du30 wants what was best for Filipinos. Anti-Marcos, Bonifacio Ilagan said that the offer is part of the Marcoses’ game plan to return to power. “Imee Marcos is going to run for senator in the next elections and Bongbong for president,” Ilagan said.
The Marcose Have Returned
Contrary to the fear of the Anti-Marcos supporters, the Marcoses are already back a long time ago. In fact, Imee Marcos is the current governor of Ilocos Norte while her mother, Imelda Marcos is a Congresswoman. Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest against VP Robredo is also ongoing. Perhaps, he will be Vice President once the Supreme Court rules in his favor after the recount.
It was obvious in Du30’s speech that he is very careful in his views about the Marcoses despite knowing the whole truth about the alleged hidden wealth. This shows that he is trying to be the President of all Filipinos, pro or anti-administration. He will do what is rightful as the law dictates. The Liberal Party people cannot just accept that their quest to block Bongbong Marcos from the Presidency is soon to fail.
The anti-graft court Sandiganbayan’s Fifth Division cites in contempt the lawyer Imelda Marcos due to his failure to attend her trial for a 25-year-old graft case. Lawyer Robert Sison snuba the hearing on Tuesday, February 28. He also fails to attend the last hearing on January 17. Sison pays P2,000 in fines and effectively waives the right to present additional evidence. It is just confusing why our legal system is more inclined to the Marcos cases that go nowhere after many years than to process the release of the wealth for humanity for the good of the people? Perhaps it has to wait until Bongbong Marcos becomes president.

[VIDEO]: PHILIPPINES: IMELDA MARCOS SENATE HEARING
Cases against Marcos
The 10 counts of graft against Marcos in 1991 stem from allegations that she creates private foundations in Switzerland from 1978 to 1984 while she is governor of Metro Manila. The prosecution rests its case in 2015. It said that the defense’s only evidence so far is the transcript of court hearings from Marcos’ dollar-salting case before the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC), for which she is acquitted in 2008. No doubt why Marcos’ lawyer snubs it. Those cases should be dismissed already for lack of evidence.
Transfer of Dollars
Dollar salting refers to the removal of dollars from Philippine banks and their transfer to an overseas account without the approval of the Central Bank of the Philippines. Prosecutors move for the anti-graft court to issue a judgment on the case, after 25 years since it is filed. Instead of wasting time on these cases, the senate should work together with the Marcoses how the government can have access to the wealth for humanity.
Why is the Humanitarian Foundation Reserve Ignored by Senate?
Former First Lady Imelda Marcos pleads the senate to look into the wealth for humanity in the late president Ferdinand E. Marcos’ will under the management of the Humanitarian Foundation Trustees such as the Central Bank, World Bank, and the IMF. It is clearly stated in the will that the huge financial reserves are for the good for the Filipino and must be used for public services, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and more. Why is this plea ignored until today?
Does this mean that only Bongbong Marcos as president can listen to his mother’s plea? The Philippines is really not a poor country if we still have billions of credit lines at the World Bank and IMF. It can only mean that we have more gold reserves than we can borrow. This is on top of the already huge loans as a country. Take note, that has something to do with the wealth of humanity. So far, no administration after the late Marcos is interested in checking that out.

The Philippines have so much gold starting when the late Ferdinand E. Marcos was still a young, and dashing lawyer. He already became two of the richest Filipinos even before he became president because of the trust of the Tallano royal family. The collection even grew abundantly when combined with the Maharlika gold and the Yamashita treasures. Brilliant as he was, Marcos made sure that they are documented for humanity and serve the Filipino people as economic support or gold reserves. This is the reason why the country never gets bankrupt like Belgium despite the world’s financial crisis.

Imelda Marcos only has the Bill of Lading
Imelda Marcos discloses to the world that she is in possession of the bill of ladings for the gold’s shipments to the different parts of the world. She even explained this to the U.S. court that acquitted her from the graft and corruption charges. She was also hailed as a very honest First Lady and the Filipinos are lucky to have her. The Marcos family do not have the rights for the deposited gold.
The Gold Collections are Kept for Humanity
The Marcos Foundation holds the rights for the gold collection as registered in the Central Bank of the Philippines. The foundation’s beneficiaries are the Filipino people. The 50 year validity period has already expired at Central bank so, the government has the jurisdiction for its assignment in cooperation with the World Bank. It is expected that the claim can be honored only when the bill of lading and the representative for the beneficiaries which is the government can be presented to the World Bank hand in hand. The overseas banks where they are deposited do not own them. The World Bank only acts as the globe’s martial for their intended use as protected by the late Marcos using his expertise in the law.
It is not clarified if the late president Marcos covered the World Bank secrecy agreement with a 50-year timeline or time deposit just prior to his death. Discussions with the World Bank, the Government, and Imelda Marcos should clarify this issue. The treasures are not for individual distribution They are collected to serve as gold reserves to support the economy.
Bongbong Marcos as President
It would be beneficial for the Filipino people if the only son of the late Ferdinand Marcos, Bongbong Marcos will one day become the president. He would know how to go about it when the right time comes. His father was a brilliant leader who always put his citizens first in line. The documentations can attest that nothing is stolen from the Philippines. Instead, he made the Filipinos the heir of the collections of wealth he came across with. Once Bongbong Marcos is president, the keeper of the rights and the representative of the beneficiaries will be one but no absolute power to own them. People who accused APO, for being a thief should be ashamed of themselves. Think about it.
