On the Back Seat
The second son of the VP hopeful always takes a back seat and greatly supports his older brother, Sandro Marcos’ endeavors. While doing so, he equips himself by taking gun training lessons in the aftermath of the Parkland, Florida shooting that claims 17 lives. Taking a stand against gun control, he said. A photo shows that shows Simon being taught how to use an assault rifle with his band of bodyguards watching nearby graces social media. It’s empowering to know that you have the skills to protect yourself, he added.
Simon Marcos’ Foundation of Gratitude
Humility aside, Simon Marcos sees the importance of gratitude through his parents’ dealings with regards to the unfair accusations against his family. They are always thankful to their supporters. No below the belt attacks can be heard from their camps despite the massive fraud surrounding their patriarch’s defeat during the 2016 elections. He said that they won’t be where they are now if not because of the Marcos loyalists.
Simon said that he’s glad that his parents let them be as they want. He may be reluctant to enter politics but he is game in all media exposures. In his early 20’s he already knew in his heart that they belong to politics right from the very start. He owes his humble character from his dad, he said.
Assurance to the People
As the middle child, Joseph Simon Araneta Marcos born on November 25, 1995, Simon has the best of both worlds. A peek into leadership and compassion from the heart. Politics is never his target at first. His steps follow his mother, Louise Marcos, a very successful corporate lawyer who wants to shy away from the political world. That even give Simon more credibility that when his father finally gets back his position, service to the people is the number one priority.
The exact words of Simon; “Whatever we do is for the good of the people.” is reason enough for many Filipinos to join hands in fighting the election anomalies that are ongoing. By now, the majority already know who are the culprits for installing the wrong politicians into power. The generation of the Marcoses just gets better every time. They are truly the best choices for the common good.
