Americans must learn from the Philippine’s experience after more than 16 million voters put the foul-mouthed President Rodrigo Duterte into power – and placed bilateral relations with allies into dangerous grounds and also turned the once peace loving Filipinos into hateful and revenge-seeking population by indirectly promoting extra judicial killings despite his denials.
Donald Trump already said that he will either win with his frank and uncensored style of campaigning or enjoy a “very, very nice long vacation.” This is contrary to the Republicans hope of him pivoting on his behavior.
“I’m a truth teller. All I do is tell the truth. And if at the end of 90 days, I’ve fallen short because I’m somewhat politically correct even though I’m supposed to be the smart one and even though I’m supposed to have a lot of good ideas, it’s OK. I go back to a very good way of life.”
Trump keeps on throwing mud at the Democratic bet Hillary Clinton by discrediting the outgoing Obama administration saying that President Obama founded ISIS and he also perceived as calling for violence against Clinton. “On the Second Amendment everybody came to my defense because there was nothing said wrong. I’m talking about the power of the voter;” said Trump.
Trump however leaves it to the voters for him to win or not – just like Duterte which in doing so made him attract more voters.
“I think we’re going to have victory, but we’ll see,” Trump said. “At the end it’s either going to work or I’m going to, you know, I’m going to have a very, very nice long vacation;” he said.
