Online Learning Trial
There is no substitute for traditional ‘face-to-face learning’ but it should not cause us to overlook the furtherance of children’s education. However, online learning must go ahead with all the other backups, Bongbong Marcos said. The key is in compliance and obedience with ample flexibility.
Online Learning is Not a Choice
Former Senator Bongbong Marcos insinuates that online learning is not a choice. It is a must. Filipinos must slowly if not drastically cope with the changing times. It’s true that face to face interactions are necessary to develop interpersonal skills. Nevertheless, it is also important to learn how to deal with people in the online community. Therefore, classes in the Philippines must start as scheduled in an online setting or its alternative to be safe from the Coronavirus threat.
DepEd’s Educational Plan
There might be many hurdles that can face the opening of classes in August. For one, the number of enrollments is just around a half compared to last year. Rest assured that the government is doing everything it can to provide the necessary tools and systems for today’s education. Those who do not have internet connections and gadgets can resort to manuals or the transistor radio alternative. This one-way option is a bit tough but can be something to hang on while education officials are coming up with a better solution. Filipinos just have to comply and embrace what is available.
