Hal tells Carol about Green Lantern | Green Lantern Extended cut
The Green Lantern
The story is about an alien and a human who met each other by accident. The alien was looking for a man with a pure heart to replace him. He needs to put the ring on the lantern to join the corps of powerful beings. Test pilot Hal Jordan is the first-ever human Green Lantern. From a novelty to one of the most legendary Lanterns to ever wield a power ring. The scene is realistic when he tells a childhood love interest of his real identity. Not a green mask can hide what one knows very well since younger years.
Self-Development of a Hero
Hal Jordan’s life changes twice by crashing aircraft. The first time is when he witnesses the death of his father, pilot Martin Jordan. The second is when a summon directs him to check in spaceship wreckage. It belongs to an alien. His name is Abin Sur. The dying Abin explains that he is a member of the Green Lantern Corps. It is an organization of beings from across the cosmos with power rings that get their power from the green energy of all willpower in the universe. Upon his death, Abin entrusts his ring and duties as the Green Lantern of Earth’s space sector to Hal Jordan.
A Pure Heart Overcomes Challenges
Hal’s life as a Green Lantern is not easy. He fights not only enemies but often friends, colleagues, and loved ones. But despite the strain, his Green Lantern identity has put on his life. Hal is an honest man who can operate without fear. He is always willing to protect those in need -whether alone, with the Corps or alongside the Justice League and Earth’s other Super Heroes. Hal swears the oath of every Green Lantern-that no evil will escape his sight.

Surviving a Broken Heart
Mamma Mia! – Mamma Mia (Here I Go Again): Donna (Meryl Streep) sings about her ex-boyfriends. As one looks back, the biggest blow on love to those who are likely to find it in early life actually sets one’s purpose in life. Donna in Mama Mia might be a bit bitter on Sam (Pierce Brosnan) but as strong as she is, she continues with life. Only to find out later on that no one replaces his love. He’s still the beginning and the end. The rest is a mere survival strategy. Making the most of what’s available and be the best under the circumstance sets one’s life apart from the many who still wonder what happiness is actually about.
Finding One’s Self is the Key to Love
As one viewer puts it; I think Donna Sheridan is someone all young women should look up to as a fictional heroine. She is a strong woman. She leaves home and graduates college and then moves to an island all by herself away from her family and hometown. Then she meets three men who are very nice but, they don’t treat her right. She ends up pregnant and basically alone. She is left to raise her daughter and take care of the defunct hotel. It’s great that she doesn’t let men control her and push her around. She seems to wear her heart on her sleeve. A very strong-willed individual.
Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep is one of the most esteemed stars of the screen, known for her work in such diverse films as ‘Sophie’s Choice,’ ‘The Devil Wears Prada,’ ‘Mamma Mia!’ and ‘Doubt.’. she again showed off her vocal abilities as Donna in the film adaptation of the ABBA musical Mamma Mia! (2008). Streep later reprised her role in the sequel: Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018).
