Bongbong Marcos Explains Leadership Changes for the Economy and Technology Advancement

Economy

By: Elena Grace Flores

It’s the economy, stupid” is a slight variation of the phrase “The economy, stupid”, which James Carville had coined as a campaign strategist of Bill Clinton‘s successful 1992 presidential campaign against sitting president George H. W. Bush. Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s version was telling Pnoy; It’s the economy, student. Meanwhile, Bongbong Marcos talks about the track record of now Speaker Arroyo when it comes to the infrastructure of the economy when she was President. He said that such leadership change including Senator Tito’s Sotto’s takeover as the Senate President is crucial for the progress of the country.

[VIDEO]: It turns out Clinton was right when he said, “It’s the economy, stupid.”

The First Female Speaker of the House

The anti-Arroyo faction must be outraged but former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo wins the house speakership post. She is the first female ever to be Speaker of the Philippines’ House of Representatives. The courageous woman is also the only former Philippine President to become speaker. While it is the first time in over a decade that in the middle of a President’s term the Speaker is replaced, Marcos is confident with Arroyo. There is no leader who has a greater sense of the economy as the former President, he said.

A Long Planned Transfer of Power

Without hesitation, Pimentel had formally nominated Sotto as his successor. Sotto now serves as the second Senate president of the 17th Congress. The transfer of power had long been planned, Pimentel says as he resigned from the position. It is done so peacefully and willingly.

The Impact of AI on the Economy

With the development of artificial intelligence comes the elimination of some jobs. But surely with this technology, we can witness the evolution of most professional landscapes. As research predicts, 1.8 million jobs will be gone by 2020, but 2.3 million jobs would be created. While the AI technology will lead to the extinction of repetitive jobs, we can see it morph and enhance creative jobs. These things should be considered while looking at the economy, Marcos says.

The Depreciation of Peso

The peso is weakening. With weak Philippine trade numbers as well as expectations of an interest rate increase in the US, the peso remains weak against the dollar. This according to Jonathan Ravelas, Chief Market Strategist of BDO Unibank Inc. This will certainly work to the benefit of exporters and dollar earners, as well as the families of OFWs, Cid Terosa, Dean of the University of Asia and the Pacific School of Economics said. Arroyo still worries however of its future implications, Marcos says. The depreciation of the Peso Value on the flip side may spur inflation. That can negatively impact the purchasing power of the common Filipino.

Marcos-Friendly Leadership

The electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos against VP Leni Robredo may still be uncertain. But now not only the President is Marcos-friendly. The heads of the Congress and the Senate are now on the same boat.  The current line of succession to the office of the President of the Philippines is specified by the 1987 Constitution. During the Marcos era, the line of succession would be amended to include a newly created cabinet or ministerial offices. The line of presidential succession follows the order of Vice President, President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives. In case of death, permanent disability, or inability of these officials, Congress shall, by law, provide for the manner of selection of the person who is to act as President until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.

The Du30-Arroyo-Marcos Alliance is Now Evident in the Congress

congress

By: Elena Grace Flores

Two powerful women loyal to the Du30 administration contributed to the success of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s bid for speakership at the Congress. Gov. Imee Marcos and Presidential daughter and Mayor Sara Du30 graced Arroyo’s lunch meeting in a Quezon City hotel. She said that it was her gesture of appreciation to politicians who supported her recent bid. Arroyo and Du30 were in red during the even while Marcos was stunning than ever.

Youtube video by; ABS-CBN News

[VIDEO]:  Lawmakers say former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos and presidential daughter Sara Duterte-Carpio joined forces to oust Davao Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez as House speaker.

Power 3 During Thank You Lunch

Speaker Arroyo had a “thank you lunch” with Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio, Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, and some 150 lawmakers last Monday, July 30. Mayor Du30 previously had a grudge with the ousted ex-Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez. Marcos also had a conflict with another unseated former Liberal Party member Rep. Rodolfo Fariñas.

The True Alliance against the Great Pretenders

Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Rodolfo Fariñas leads the probe into the alleged misuse of tobacco funds under Governor Imee Marcos. The lady governor previously kept her cool against the former Majority Leader.  Legislators allied with Arroyo said Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos. She is allegedly campaigning to stop her rival Fariñas from getting a leadership position in the lower chamber.

The Union of the Unwanted Leaders

Fariñas has joined a minority bloc in the House of Representatives to be with Rep. Alvarez. Fariñas admitted that Rep. Prospero Pichay Jr. assured him that he could retain his post as majority floor leader even if Alvarez would be ousted but it was not the case. The Ilocos Norte lawmaker, however, chose to join his PDP-Laban party mate in the minority bloc instead. He declares his loyalty to Alvarez.

Party Membership Convenience

Another claimant to the minority block is Rep. Romero Quimbo. He criticizes politicians who just join a political party because it’s the flavor of the month so to speak. They actually do not carry the principles of such a group. Therefore it would be easier for them to go back to their roots or form a new alliance such as the minority block.

Women on Top in the Du30 Regime

The humanitarian crusaders seem to be quiet nowadays. They were known for their discrediting President Du30. They accuse him of being a rapist, anti-women, and a dictator. However, the Arroyo, Marcos, and Du30’s emergence prove that the older Du30 ‘s votes remain intact.

Anti-Marcos Politicians Start to Lose Power as Gov. Imee Marcos Influences the Congress

Election

By: Elena Grace Flores

Honorable Fredenil “Fred” Castro, Majority Leader (Interim) District Representative Capiz, 2nd District in the Congress said that the election if a new Majority leader in a quorum automatically made the position of Rep. Rodolfo Fariñas vacant. The manifestation becomes evident after he questioned Resolution 2025 that validates CGMA’s election as House Speaker.  Arroyo actually has no problem with Fariñas being retained as the Majority Floor Leader but another influential group blocks his reappointment led allegedly by Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos.

Youtube video by; GMA News

[VIDEO]:  Rep. Fariñas, kinuwestiyon ang pagtalaga kay Arroyo bilang House Speaker

PDP Laban Membership is Based on Convenience

Castro is not at all bothered by the chaos in the Congress. He said that the House of Representatives remains interesting like before. No one can stop anyone from questioning anything. However, the diminishing PDP-Laban members in power can send members of their group who just joined for convenience to go back to their old political parties. These are the politicians who oppose the government’s directions despite their alliance with the President’s party.

Erasing from the Political Landscape

Castro hints that the PDP-Laban may be erased from the political landscape when after a massive exodus. However, the ones who are truly-inclined with the party’s objectives will remain. They can also start recruiting for new allies to help out in their specific quests.

The Marcos-Fariñas Conflict

Gov. Marcos and Fariñas have a bitter-sweet history of both political alliances and feuds. The latest was in 2017. It was when the former conducted a House a probe into the alleged misuse of P66.45 million worth of provincial tobacco funds to purchase vehicles earlier approved by the Ilocos Norte Governor.

COA Inquiry on the Congress Issue by Fariñas

The COA said that the local government did not conduct the physical count of inventories held for consumption. These include office, food, medical, and agricultural supplies. The inventories that total to over ₱125 million were not checked for completeness and condition. Thus resulting in the possible loss of government funds due to overstocking and deterioration.

No Corruption

In response, the Ilocos Norte government said it will establish an Inventory Committee to conduct a physical count every six months. It added there was no overstocking of inventories. The supplies were not obsolete. The officer-in-charge of the Government Services Offices confirms that he is now waiting for the issuance of the official receipt and certificate of registration for the vehicles questioned by Farinas. The vehicles will then be insured to the Government Service Insurance System. The local government also clarifies that the fuel was purchased from Total in a special and exclusive offer that reduced costs. Any discrepancy found is certainly not a corruption issue but just a mere logistical process realignment for a sustainable spending. It has now become obvious that it is not advisable to be negative about the Marcoses under the Du30 regime. The lady governor surely found favor in the President’s eyes.

Stronger Du30-Marcos Alliance with CGMA as Speaker of the House – Can Some Senators Live with It?

senators

By: Elena Grace Flores

Some senators express their disagreement over CGMA’s recent take over as the new Speaker of the House replacing Cong. Pantaleon Alvarez in a coup d’etat manner. Senators Ping Lacson and Grace Poe are quite emotional about it. Lacson was in exile under the Arroyo administration when he became a prime suspect of a double-murder case. Poe is the adopted daughter of Arroyo’s rival, actor Fernando Poe, Jr. However, the accusations against the ex-lady leader were all not proven until now. She found an even stronger alliance after her ordeal in the prison cell for 5 long years. President Rodrigo Du30 still calls her the boss. Bongbong Marcos and his family also feel for Arroyo’s plight under the same enemies – the Aquino clan.

The Dramatic Takeover that Shocked Senators

The sudden change in the leadership of the House of Representatives was not a coup d’état. House Deputy Speaker Fredenil Castro said the majority vote of congressmen in favor of former-president-now-Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo replacing Pantaleon Alvarez would “override” any supposed irregularity in the process. Castro was responding to Alvarez reportedly raising questions about the validity of the takeover since the audio and the mace symbolizing the Speaker’s authority were absent during Arroyo’s oath-taking.

Looking Back on How Much Marcos and Arroyo Endured Injustices

Youtube video by; Rappler

[VIDEO]:  Imelda Marcos visits Gloria Arroyo

Former First Lady and now Congresswoman Imelda Marcos cannot hide her dismay when she visited CGMA in her prison cell while serving a verdict that was never made. There was no conviction whatsoever until now. Nonetheless, she was a threat to the interests of the Aquino administration. Cong. Marcos thinks that the treatment of former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III to Arroyo was just cruel. It was clearly an injustice, she said.

Marcos-Arroyo Endurance Under the Aquinos

The Marcoses and Arroyo have suffered a lot under the two Aquino regimes. Their lives revolved around trials that are unending. Nothing can pin them down due to lack of substantial evidence and yet, the Aquinos showed no signs of mercy or respect in the due process. They used their media influence to destroy the reputation of both political names.

Bongbong Marcos was CGMA’s Birthday Guest Speaker

Youtube video by;  ABS-CBN News

[VIDEO]: Former president and now Pampanga 2nd District Representative Gloria Arroyo celebrated her 70th birthday with several political VIPs. Among them, former Senator Bongbong Marcos

Bongbong Marcos swore during the birthday celebration of CGMA that he won’t stop working on his protest until all votes of his voters for Vice President are counted. He was also critical to VP Leni Robredo for being so unpatriotic. This was the time when she bad-mouthed the President’s war on drugs to the international audience during a UN side event.

CGMA Made the Du30-Marcos Stronger

As shown in the series of events, there’s no denying that CGMA’s takeover is vital to the Du30-Marcos alliance. There’s a Filipino anecdote that says; if you can’t do it through ethical means, do it quickly at the most possible method. Coup d’etat or not, the House’s leadership change is as fast as when the former Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno was ousted using SolGen Calida’s quo warranto petition. Is the VP post next?

Gov. Imee Marcos’ Tips on How to Bring Down Commodity Prices at the SONA

SONA

By: Elena Grace Flores

The country’s best governor, Gov. Imee Marcos responds positively on the price hike question. This was during an ambush interview at the recent SONA of President Rodrigo Du30. She urges everyone not to put the blame solely into the TRAIN law. Instead, she shares her strategies in dealing with the local agricultural production of her province. The sister of VP protester, Bongbong Marcos is expected to run for senator in 2019. She is literally a lady in waiting.

Youtube video by; MARK MATIAS TV

[VIDEO]:  Governor Imee Marcos attended the SONA 2018

Not Just the TRAIN Law

The TRAIN law certainly has some effects on the current price hike of commodities but it is not the ultimate reason, said Gov. Marcos. In fact, corporate earners and professionals benefitted largely from it. Their income taxes are greatly reduced. There might be a need to exempt the basic needs for value-added taxes imposed but the most effective tax shield is to ensure that sales agents are brokers won’t take advantage of the farmers’ proceeds.

The World’s Gasoline Crisis

The ongoing switch from gasoline to hydrogen fuel evident in the sales of hybrid cars in Japan signifies that there’s an immediate need to do so. The Japanese government even offered a subsidy for new buyers of this environmentally-friendly transportation system. It is not a secret that the country is a vital source of deuterium, a rich source of hydrogen fuel. It is already waiting for the extraction permit from the  DPWH. Since gasoline is dwindling, a replacement is needed asap.

Gasoline Subsidy could be a SONA Highlight

Gov. Marcos wishes that the gasoline subsidy by the government during her father’s regime be implemented during the present time. This is to prevent the prices of the daily needs to increase tremendously. Perhaps an ideal highlight for the next SONA. It is also a clear proof that the late President Ferdinand Marcos’ priority was for the people’s welfare.

Local Strategy

The good governor is hands-on when it comes to the agricultural undertakings of Ilocos Norte. They are the main producer and supplier of rice. She is proud to say that there is a substantial price difference if one compares the rice prices of other provinces to her bailiwick. Their local prices are much cheaper than the others.

Power Struggle

CGMA’s take over as the House speaker during the SONA recently is a wake-up call that the allies of President Du30 are not taking the oppositions’ destabilization efforts sitting down. Cong. Alvarez is set aside. Earlier, they are already successful in ousting the appointee of PNoy, Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno from the Supreme Court. Senator Tito Sotto also replaces Senator Koko Pimentel as Senate President. SolGen Jose Calida is also working on Bongbong Marcos’ case. However, Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa continues to charge the younger Marcos with questionable fees. He would probably need those funds while on possible exile later on.

SONA Sideline: CGMA Takes Over as House Speaker while SolGen Calida Grills Robredo

SONA

By: Elena Grace Flores

The supermajority in the Congress votes for CGMA  as the new speaker of the house replacing Cong. Pantaleon Alvarez. This happens before and after the SONA of Philippine President Rodrigo Du30. The power struggle is not only evident in the lower house but also in all branches of the government. It is a puzzle to many that conflicts arise even among the supporters of Du30. However, a certain pattern is obvious. The pro-Marcos stalwarts in the current administration are at work. Take the case of SolGen Jose Calida’s stunt against the 25% notion of Vice President Leni Robredo which is favorable to Bongbong Marcos.

Youtube video by; GMA News

Coup d’etat at the SONA

Former President and now Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo vows to push for the legislative agenda of the Du30 administration in the House of Representatives after she was elected overall head of the chamber. “I am extremely honored to have been supported by my colleagues at the House of Representatives to be their new Speaker,” said Arroyo in a short statement. “I will endeavor to carry out the legislative agenda of President Rodrigo Duterte in the Lower House,” she said.

Dramatic Takeover

The SONA row was the culmination of months of speculation about a possible plan to oust Alvarez. Arroyo’s takeover took place in a muted affair. The audio was unceremoniously cut just when Deputy Speaker Rolando Andaya announced around 3:30 p.m. that a majority of the House, 161, had voted for the leadership change.

Alvarez’s Vested Interests

The ousted speaker becomes unpopular because of his firm stand in various issues. He even has a rift with the Presidential daughter after he calls her an opposition. Aside from being the line of succession for the VP post,  he is also a possible contender for Prime Minister if the Federalism change pushes through. These are taken by the loyalists as vested interests thus explaining his disagreement over the President’s alliance with the Marcoses. Cong. Alvarez earlier flaunts also his affair despite remaining legally married to his wife.

SolGen Calida as the President’s Implementor

Solicitor General Jose Calida is instrumental in the ouster of Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno. He apparently leaves the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to defend itself in the ongoing vice presidential electoral protest. Though he files a manifestation backing the 50% ballot shading threshold that favors the interest of former senator Bongbong Marcos. The Office of the Solicitor General urges the Presidential Electoral Tribunal to junk Vice President Leni Robredo’s appeal to apply the 25 percent threshold. This is to determine the validity of votes in the ongoing vice presidential election recount.

The SolGen’s Legal Basis

The OSG said that in vice presidential elections, it is the PET that has “the sole authority to judge all contests” and the Comelec has no jurisdiction over the case. Calida cited Section 4, Article VII of the Constitution that provides that the PET has exclusive jurisdiction over election contests relating to the president or vice president. Vice President Leni Robredo’s lawyer Romulo Macalintal says Solicitor General Jose Calida’s ‘erroneous’ support of the 50% shading threshold would ‘erode the very foundation of our democracy’ by disenfranchising voters. They are questioning why Calida is siding Marcos.

Lito Atienza in the Congress: Bongbong Marcos is the Real Winner in the 2016 VP Race

congress

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Manila’s Cong. Lito Atienza’s debate with Rep. Edgar Erice of Caloocan City in Congress on the integrity of the automated election in the country says it all. He bluntly declares that Bongbong Marcos is the real winner of the 2016 VP race and was cheated with the connivance of the Comelec and its preferred candidate, Leni Robredo.

Youtube video by;  PH News Unfiltered

[VIDEO]:  INISA-ISA ni Lito Atienza kung bakit si Bongbong Marcos ang totoong nanalo bilang Bise-Presidente

Ex-Comelec Chair’s Cheating Confirmation

The admission of then Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista to his wife that he received an excessive amount of salary from Smartmatic to his wife, Patricia is a mere admission of the fraud. This is why Atienza campaigns to replace the supplier of the digital voting machines to be replaced. He also comments that Bautista is now staying in America and would not want to return any time soon.

Explain Wet Ballots

The irate Congressman asks Erice to explain why the ballots which must be under the protection of Comelec came out wet? Why the transmission of results happen a day prior to the election? The representative from Caloocan sites the rain as the reason for the wet ballots and assures the crowd that the digital copies saved in SD cards are safe at the Central Bank. He also said that only the zero votes results were transmitted earlier to make sure that the count starts from zero.

Digital Copies are Not Dependable

However, Atienza can only cast doubts on his unconvincing answers and further questions about the reliability of the SD cards which are reportedly tampered. He is very certain that the Comelec would do its very best to cover up its mess to avoid implications with the anomalies since this costs the government lots of money already.

Atienza Tells the Congress that there’s No Justice for Marcos

There’s one thing that Cong. Atienza believes. Bongbong Marcos would never get justice from the Comelec even if he was clearly the VP winner. Despite the calls for it to change the voting machine provider for the elections in 2019, it maintains its deaf ears. Only God can give justice to Marcos as far as he can see. Meanwhile, Sol. Gen.  Jose Calida is now pushing the PET to honor its own 50% shading ruling. This can massively reduce the VP’s votes. The President is also asking for an election prior to the Federalism transition if granted by the Congress. This is to prevent Robredo from becoming the next President of the country.

Investment Signs that President Du30 is Bringing Back the Marcos Golden Years

investment

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

One can only read the lines to solve the riddles in President Rodrigo Du30’s speeches. He is honest enough to express his pro-stance on the late President Ferdinand Marcos’ Martial Law. It is obvious that his major actions recently follow the Marcos template. The charter change to Federalism is a structure that can prevent the opposition to regain their power in the executive branch. Therefore, there’s a big possibility that Bongbong Marcos can end up as Prime Minister as most people think. The signs are in the infrastructure investment.

Youtube video by;  Rappler

[VIDEO]:  President Rodrigo Duterte says former president Ferdinand Marcos’ declaration of martial law was ‘very good.’ This is in response to a question seeking to clarify Duterte’s earlier statement, where he said that his declaration of martial law would be similar to Marcos’ time.

The Manila-Clark MRT

The 106-kilometerManila-Clark MRT or railway project is one of the “high-impact projects” of President Rodrigo Duterte under the government’s “Build Build Build” infrastructure program. The rail system stands to benefit 350,000 passengers daily on its first year of operations. The Department of Transportation aims to start the finish the construction by 2021. It can decongest Metro Manila and further spread economic gains.

Media Bluff?

In June 2016, Du30 told the media that Chinese diplomats offered to fund and build the project in two years. A year later, the transportation department said the project would be funded through ODA from Japan. However, when it is true that the Japanese are involved in the construction, both the Chinese and the Japanese entities are not the investors.

Alternative to Bongbong Marcos’ Electoral Protest

The PET currently acknowledges the anomalies found as per the observations of Bongbong Marcos. It even issues another order for the local officials of Camarines Sur and Iloilo to explain the issues in the revisors’ incident reports specifically about the excess ballots in favor of VP Leni Robredo. However, the President already expresses his dismay over the delay for his Vice President to take over. Therefore, he can only prolong his stint to lock the position in place against the enemies.

ADB-World Bank Funding

The ADB or Asian Development Bank that aims to support the economic developments of the country is the investor of the Manila-Clark MRT. Asian Development Bank follows the pattern of the World Bank. Both work on various projects in the world side by side with each other. So, could the Marcos deposits for the welfare of humanity at the World Bank be the basis of the huge investment?

Sandro Marcos Plans to Work Abroad – Not running for Any Election?

election

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Bongbong Marcos reveals that his son, Sandro Marcos plans to work abroad. He does not want to build his career where his name means something. Does this imply that he’s not running at all for the upcoming election? Earlier, his aunt, Gov. Imee Marcos who’s running for Senator wishes that her mother can convince the younger Marcoses especially Sandro to join them in politics. He can feasibly get his place in the Congress or even as governor.

[VIDEO]: The BBM Vlog: Episode 13 (OFFICIAL TRAILER).

Bloggers Supportive of Marcos’ Election Protest

Marcos speaks highly of some very supportive bloggers for his election protest against Vice President Leni Robredo. The former Senator only has nice words for them. He thinks that ASec Mocha Uson is popular while RJ Nieto of Thinking Pinoy and Sass Rogando Sasot of Mother Earth are both smart. Darwin Canete is influential. Mike Lopez is also a lovely person, said Marcos. He pretends not to know about “Pinoy Ako” blog.

Father is Proud of Son’s Achievement

There might be some awkward moments between father and son but Bongbong stresses the fact that Sandro is doing alright. He got his Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Where will Sandro go?

As a supportive parent, the Bongbong asks Sandro where he would like to go. Perhaps they could refer him to some of their friends in their field. However, the latter prefers to do it his way. Maybe, to work abroad for a while will help him learn about his real interests.

Many Filipinos can be Heartbroken

The older Marcos believes that real men wear pink. He is grateful to Oxford for teaching him how to think. There are many things to learn more about the future Vice President. BBM Vlog episode 13 is gold in that aspect. However, as for Sandro, he is still in the stage where he wants to explore the world on his own. For sure, many Filipinos can be heartbroken if that is so.

Robredo Drags Du30 to LP Mess a Week Before Facing Bongbong Marcos in a Recount

Recount

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

acting workshop

A week prior to the recount, this is a hot topic in social media. Nothing can beat the thickness of Vice President Leni Robredo’s face. This is after she said that all the winners of the 2016 elections including President Rodrigo Du30 are affected with Majority Leader Senator Tito Sotto expose. Previously, the Supreme Court already set aside the first course of action on Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest that questions the integrity of the automated poll system of Smartmatic to pave the way for the recount on March 19, 2018. However, Senator Nancy Binay’s resolution on the issue enables the Senate to investigate then the Congress follows suit.

[VIDEO]: VP Robredo, iginiit na apektado ang lahat ng kandidato sakaling totoo ang isiniwalat ni Sen. Sotto.

How Different is Fraud?

Robredo said that Sotto’s claims appear to be different from the grounds of her rival, former Senator Bongbong Marcos, in his electoral protest against her victory in the May 2016 polls. Both point out that they have evidence of digital manipulation that only the ruling party at that time is capable of orchestrating. Although, she did not elaborate on the subject.

Favorable to Marcos

Marcos congratulates Senator Sotto for bringing the “election anomalies” to the public. Robredo, on the other hand, proposes an independent body to look into Sotto’s allegations.

The Senate & the Congress VS. the Supreme Court

The co-equal branches of the government seem to be on a power struggle at the moment. Firstly, Senator Tito Sotto III claims in his privilege speech to receive information that the 2016 polls were tainted with irregularities. The early transmissions of votes and alleged proof of “foreign access” in the election servers are among the issues raised. Then, the House Minority Leader Danilo Suarez also laid out the analysis of the cheating reports that coincide with Marcos’ protest. Lastly, the Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno faces an impeachment case. Robredo takes this as a quick way to get rid of her.

One Week Before the Recount

A week prior to the recount set on March 19, 2018. Marcos continues to attend to social invitations from groups that consider him as the legitimate Vice President. Meanwhile, Vice President Robredo tries very hard to bring down with her the President who is in alliance with the Marcoses. The people can only guess the next development.

Sotto’s poll fraud allegations affect all winners in 2016 polls, says Robredo
