Marcos-Enrile Union on the 46th Martial Law Anniversary Diminishes Edsa’s People Power

Malacanang assures that the law enforcers of the government maintain maximum tolerance during the rallies on the 46th anniversary of Martial Law. Atty. Harry Roque, the Presidential Spokesperson points out that the President respects the people’s right to express themselves. Nonetheless, the mainstream media fails to exaggerate the protests. Real people post through social media various images that show the decline of Edsa People Power. This happens as the brain of both martial law and Edsa mutiny, former Senator Juan Ponce Enrile reunites with Bongbong Marcos, the son of the late President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr.

Martial Law Anniversary

On September 21, 1972, Martial Law was enacted through Proclamation 1081. It was then declared on the 23rd of September. Hence, to mark this 46th anniversary of President Marcos’ declaration of Martial Law, some groups and universities hold protests. This is according to earlier reports.

Resistance on the Alleged Dictatorship

Quoting The Alyansa ng Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon’s statement, “hundreds of peasants  with indigenous people, fisherfolks, urban poor and other sectors—people of Central Luzon—continue their three-day protest march from provinces.” Furthermore, they are also set to join to join the United People’s Action against the speculations of Tyranny and Dictatorship under martial law.

Enrile’s Denies Martial Law Brutality

Enrile claims that the country was in better condition when martial law was declared in 1972 than the country’s situation now. He is one of Marcos’ strongest allies and served as defense secretary. He said that there’s nothing to fear under the provisions of the martial law in the 1986 constitution. Even Senator Risa Hontiveros’ stunts on the street in the rain seem crazy for many.

The Communist Party is Not the Organizer

The Communist Party of the Philippines also says that they are not the event’s organizers, but, they do support the opposition. Their statement says; “The CPP denounces the officials of the Philippine National Police for insisting on the announcement that such actions are the doings of the CPP, NPA, and the NDF.  This is apparently to justify plans to clamp down the protests. However, it is obvious through the media interviews of the presumptive Vice President Leni Robredo that the Liberal Party is behind all the movements.

In the anticipation of the rallies, Joseph Estrada suspends classes in all levels both in public and private schools. The PNP is set to observe maximum tolerance for the rallies. Meanwhile, in anticipation of road closures because of the activities, the MMDA urges the motorists to take alternate routes.

Bongbong Marcos Corrects the Misleading Media about Enrile’s Alleged Betrayal

By: Elena Grace Flores

As the Defense Secretary back then, it was Juan Ponce Enrile who planned the mutiny that grew into the People Power Revolution by mistake. Enrile was wary of the political factions in the palace when then President Ferdinand Marcos was ill. One cabal was led by the former Armed Forces Chief of Staff Fabian Ver and Imelda. The real enemies were unknown to him at the time but the demonization of Marcos through the media was so intense. However, Enrile always sought for the approval of the late Marcos in every step that he made. All these efforts were to help save the first family.

[VIDEO]: Former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile (JPE) speaks on many little-known facts around the actual events of Martial Law. Watch Episode 1, “JPE on Martial Law” on Thursday, September 20 at 7 pm and Episode 2, “JPE on EDSA” on Saturday, September 22 at 7 pm. Both episodes will air on official BBM channels:

False Branding Claim

The People Power had been attributed to the Aquino Family ever since it happened. Almost as if it is their franchise, they use it to their political advantage. However, during the most dangerous and first night of the movement, Corazon Aquino was hiding in Cebu, in a convent. Furthermore, his son was too busy in other things as well and hadn’t participated. Nevertheless, with massive media stunts, they were tied with the movement.

Cory’s Blame Game via the Media

When Ninoy was killed, Corry blamed Marcos. She then launched a destabilization campaign. Marcos was then forced to call a snap election, wherein he was confident to win. Back in 1982, the county’s economy was stable but after the murder of Ninoy, things went south. Ultimately, Cory’s destabilization campaign worked.

Ramos’ Participation

Enrile was down on to deciding to make a last stand. They decided to hold it at the AFP headquarters. He made a call to the Vice Chief of Staff Lieut. Gen. Fidel V. Ramos. Their allegiance was assured, but it was not until late in the evening of Feb. 22 that Ramos was able to join them in Camp Aguinaldo.

Wrong People Power Beneficiary

Because of the People Power, the Aquinos were granted two presidencies. But what did the people gain in these two presidencies? They cannot even solve the assassination case of their own patriarch. That made one speculation even grow stronger. That a relative of the late Cory Aquino is responsible. It would be pathetic to kill their own to gain power.

Marcos did not Cheat

After Cory’s ascension to the presidency, Namfrel conducted a recount. In the recount, Marcos still won by 800,000 votes. Furthermore, in the official count sanctioned by the Comelec, Marcos was the official winner by a margin of 1.7 million votes. It is now clear that Cory Aquino was never elected by the people. The same doubts go to the son, Noynoy. He could have won because of the digital election system manipulation made possible by the conniving Comelec and Smartmatic. Currently, Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest for the Vice Presidency is still ongoing. Atty. Glenn Chong’s technical evidence shows that the present VP, Leni Robredo may be illegitimate.

Prediction on Bongbong Marcos’ Takeover Stirs EDSA Hopefuls but NO Success

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

acting workshop

Dr. Rene Escalante, Chairman of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines finds himself explaining the true essence of the EDSA People Power Anniversary. Filipinos should express unity and set aside political colors and political affiliations, he said. This is after President Du30 speaks on the heroism of the late President Ferdinand Marcos. Anti Du30-Marcos protests mushroom in minimal fractions due to the fear that once Bongbong Marcos wins the recount on March 19 against Vice President Leni Robredo, Du30 resigns to give way to Marcos as President. This is in line with the prediction in the past.

[VIDEO]: Dr. Rene Escalante, Chairman of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines says that as we reminisce the 1986 People Power Revolution, the Filipinos should express unity and set aside political colors and political affiliations. Only a few thousand protesters made it to the scattered scenes.

The Yellows’ Nightmare

It is not surprising for people who know President Du30 why on the eve of the so-called EDSA People’s power Anniversary, the President hails the late President Ferdinand Marcos as a hero. Knowledgeable Filipinos can relate to this because the only reason why EDSA was peaceful is that, the former President had the heart of preventing a bloody defense by stepping down. Nonetheless, Du30 can be irked by unmindful protests. When that happens, Filipinos can wake up one day with Bongbong Marcos as the new President.

Copy Cat Campaign

The anti-administration rally organizers said that the nationwide protest seeks to raise awareness on several issues. They include press freedom, human rights, Charter Change, mass transport, extrajudicial killings, and martial law in Mindanao in their campaign. Collectively, the protesters show their concern over the assumed looming dictatorship of President Du30. This is the same scenario as to the event leading to the fall of President Marcos. The yellows seem to forget that they are destabilizing a very popular leader and well-loved real Vice President.

Warning or Prediction?

Since the evidence against Robredo is logical, the yellows seem to double their efforts but to no avail. The majority of Filipinos still support the current administration. Most Filipinos wish to see Bongbong Marcos leading the country. As it was written; hail the pearl of the orient now has a new leader. His name symbolizes the sound of a bell…bong, bong, bong.

Like Father, Like Sons

Joseph Simon, Ferdinand Alexander, and William Vincent all have the bearing and intellect of a Marcos. Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos, 23, recently finished his graduate studies at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science. Sandro’s popularity roars this early as seen recently at the Caloocan University gathering. Apparently, the crowd expects to see the younger Marcos and not his father Bongbong.

Jim Paredes Gone Mad Over Low Turn Out at Edsa

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

One lesson in life is demonstrated at the verge of the Edsa Revolution celebrations when Jim Paredes encounters the pro-administration supporters right at the People Power vicinity. Paredes looks so fed-up, tired, and weary when he scolded the young but intelligent supporters of the president. In spite of the insults he throws at them, they remain calm, respectful, and sure of what they are fighting for.

Youtube video by; JRhyan
[VIDEO]: A heated confrontation ensues between anti-Administration protesters led by singer-songwriter Jim Paredes and pro-PDu30 supporters. This happens recently at the EDSA 31st anniversary celebrations.

Truth is Truth

How can Jim Paredes say that the pro-administration supporters are wrong? He urges them to wake up but it seems that even at his senior age, he remains asleep with the lack of consideration for opinions of others and misinformed over history and current events. He criticizes the president for killing teenagers and he talks about due process? The young man answers that the 7,000 deaths questioned are still under investigation which is the truth.

A Wise Man would just Ignore the Pro-Administration Protesters

If Paredes already gains wisdom from his seniority then he could have learned that there’s no point nagging those young men in public. The best insult is still to ignore but he chooses to be mad over the pro-Du30 youth’s presence. At the end, they are convinced to leave and move to Luneta where a massive pro-administration crowd awaits them.

The Feb 25 EDSA Gathering is an Act of Rebellion

The administration already organizes a simple People Power celebration on Feb 24 at Camp Aguinaldo. This is attended by the Bihomadu Group members or representatives – the alliance of Binay, Honasan, Marcos, and PDu30 for unity. Former president Fidel V Ramos is even there as well even if he did not agree with the “moving on” theme. The Feb 25 EDSA gathering is an attempt to show the Anti-administration people power force once again but they failed big time. They were only about 7,000 protesters who made it at EDSA – compared to more than half a million pro-administration supporters at Quirino Grandstand at the time of the said incident.

Time for Jim Paredes and the Liberal Party to Concede

The display of power is very clear that there are more pro-administration supporters than the anti ones. Jim Paredes and the Liberal Party members have their own story to tell for sure but they have to respect what the majority stand for if they really are for democracy. They should also dig deeper on where the president is coming from to understand his ways in instilling discipline in the country. For the sake of unity, we should always welcome those who are weary and work together for genuine change.

Quirino Grandstand Freedom Rally: Don’t be a Rebel – Unite with the Government and the People

Quirino Grandstand

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The new People Power Revolution happens on Feb 24 and 25, 2017 at the Quirino Grandstand Freedom Rally in support of the administration’s political will on the anti-illegal drugs war, extra-judicial killings accusations, death penalty reimposition, peace, and order measures plus other policies of the president. Unlike the old EDSA event, the pro-administration gathering is attended by various groups from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. This signifies the end of the yellow faction’s dominance carried out by the Liberal Party in the country.

Liberal Party must Back Off

During the reign of the late Cory Aquino and her son Noynoy Aquino, the people has no choice but to bear with them in spite of their incompetence. It’s only Senator Gringo Honasan who has the guts to lead few coup attempts against the deceased Aquino – and he clearly declares his support to Bongbong Marcos, the son of their patriarch’s biggest rival. This time, it’s time for the Liberal Party to back off and give way to PDu30, a Marcos loyalist.

Happy and Energetic Crowd

The prayer vigil turns into a happy celebration of the freedom to unite different groups to back the president’s uncommon ways in solving the problems of the country. The event is graced by Security Adviser Germogenes Esperon, and DOJ Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II from the early hours. It cannot be denied that the atmosphere in the area is happy and energetic.

Aside from the various groups from the different parts of the country, the 8,000 contingents from Bacoor Cavite, 5,000 from Caloocan, and 15,000 from Mandaluyong stand out. This is definitely a well-organized gathering of people from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Not just a bunch of people who are curious on what is going on like the EDSA 1.

Be one with the Elected Government

It’s about time to be one with the government elected by the majority of voters. The attendees are not only Du30 supporters but also those who did not vote for him but are obedient to the law. The Bihomadu or the Binay, Honasan, Marcos and the president Du30’s alliance also express their unity with each other during the 31st Edsa Revolution official celebration on February 24, 2017.

‘Walk for Life’ Turnout not Enough for Another People Power Revolution?

People Power

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

CBCP President and Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas urges Catholic patrons to walk for life. Not with blood, not with dead bodies, but with prayer, with courage to walk to stand up for life. There are thousands of people who participated but not enough to stage another People Power Revolution.

Youtube video by; Rappler
[VIDEO]: The president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines, Archbishop Socrates Villegas, urges Filipinos to join the ‘Walk for Life’ against extrajudicial killings, the death penalty, and other anti-life measures on February 18, 2017, at the Quirino Grandstand.

Testing the Waters?

Critics say that the “Walk for Life” event is a way to check if Filipinos are still one with the People Power Revolution in 1986. Although there are thousands of attendees, they are far fewer than what is needed for a revolt.

Audit the Curch?

Anti-crime advocates express concern over the possible use of Church money to campaign against the re-imposition of the death penalty. Dante Jimenez, founding chairman of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), said that there is no way to find out if the donations made by members of the Catholic Church are used to fund the anti-death penalty drive because the church can’t be subject for audit. They don’t pay taxes as well.

Not for Criminals

Villegas, the president of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines, explains that the prayer rally is for those who can no longer speak due to fear for their lives. It is not to defend drug addicts and killers. Criminals should be arrested, charged, sentenced and jailed to correct their wrongdoings. Guilt should be proven in a court of law, not by the bullet,” he said.

Due Process is Priority

Vigilante killings already exist in the Philippines ever since time immemorial. The only difference now is, it’s highly publicized. Not to promote peace but to try to destabilize the government. Even before the president is elected, his critics vow to make him responsible for extra-judicial killings in Davao when he was still a mayor. The ‘Walk of Life’ sad to say is highly political and the church is guilty of supporting the president’s detractors.
