It looks like the late President Ferdinand Marcos’ detractors were so keen on burying the lies they spread to demonize him by spreading rumors that the Bongbong Marcos we see now is just a clone. DNA testing can easily prove it these days. However, the son of the great Filipino leader finds it unnecessary. At a glance, he certainly has the Marcos traits inside and out.

Nature of Speculated Death
There are two rumors about how the younger Marcos apparently died. One said that he was killed in a bar by a foreign national in London after a fight. The second one was by car accident both locally and in London. The former Senator even jokes about it and shares his experience how he was asked by classmates – if he really is the real Bongbong Marcos.
Clone Story is Political in Nature
The late President Marcos’ supremacy during his time cannot be fathomed by his enemies. They suspect that his first lady, Imelda Marcos takes over after his reign. The son can only be his possible heir because his sisters had other interests previously. Not unless he’s already dead. People can have second thoughts on voting for an alleged clone.
The Truth Hunts Detractors
The challenger for the VP race gives, even more, reasons for his detractors to discredit him using fake news. He is about to win it given the number of credible witnesses of alleged election fraud in 2016. The hairline lead of VP Leni Robredo can easily be surpassed through the recount for his pilot provinces come February 2018.
